Jiangwan people are proud of Houlongshan, and they attribute their national prosperity and the emergence of talents to the kindness of Houlongshan Long Mai. This concept of feng shui is naturally not credible. However, under the influence of this concept, Jiangwan people created a model of closing mountains to facilitate afforestation and protect the ecology. Since ancient times, Jiangwan people have not allowed anyone to touch the grass and trees on Longshan. In ancient times, there was an allusion to "killing the son and closing the mountain". "Killing children and harvesting mountains" refers to the selfless governance of Jiangwan by Jiang Shaowu, the eighteenth ancestor. His son illegally went to Houlongshan to chop wood and was caught by the ranger. In order to set an example for others, he helped his son parade around the streets and put him to death. From then on, no one dared to go to Houlongshan to cut wood for hundreds of years. Therefore, the vegetation in Houlongshan has been well protected. Nowadays, entering Houlongshan is like entering a primeval forest with towering ancient trees, which adds a lot of charm to Jiangwan ancient village built on the mountain.
Jiangwan Scenic Area is surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful scenery, rich products and prosperous literature. Green tea and Sydney are famous for a long time. Jiang Yong, a Confucian scholar and phonologist in the Qing Dynasty, Jiang Yilin, assistant minister of Qin Long in the Ming Dynasty, and Jiang Qian, a famous educator and Buddhist scholar in the late Qing Dynasty, were born. There are as many as 88 kinds of writings by villagers, and there are 25 officials with more than seven products, which is a well-deserved representative of Wuyuan's "book town". Up to now, the village has well-preserved Huizhou ancient buildings such as Sanshengtang, Dunchongtang and Peixintang, as well as public buildings such as Donghemen and Bajing, which are of great historical and ornamental value.
