According to data, the project starts from the Hezhang East Hub Interchange in Yemachuan Town, Hezhang County, and connects to the completed Bijie-Weining Expressway and the proposed Zhenxiong (boundary of Yunnan and Guizhou) to Hezhang The expressway passes through Weishe, Xingfa, Zhijie, Muguo, Wangjiazhai and Luofeijia, and ends at the Shuiwanba hub in Zhongshan District, connecting the Liupanshui to Weining (Guizhou and Yunnan border) expressway under construction. The total length of the route is 70.078 kilometers. The total project duration (from the date of commencement) is 3 years.

Eight interchanges will be set up along the entire line at Hezhangdong (hub), Yemachuan, Xingfa, Zhijie, Muguo, Wangjiazhai, Luofeijia and Shuiyanba (hub). The conditions for the construction of interchanges in Daprai remain. Another 5.5 kilometers of interchanges will be built, including 2.96 kilometers of Yemachuan interchange, 1.35 kilometers of Zhijie interchange, and 1.19 kilometers of Wangjiazhai interchange. The entire line is constructed according to two-way four-lane highway standards, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a road bed width of 24.5 meters. The interconnection connection line is constructed according to the third-class highway standard, with a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour and a roadbed width of 8.5 meters.
