Taiping Gate is the east gate of Rong Da Village in Wanling Town, which means "the world is peaceful and everything is peaceful". The gate in the village used to be the political center of the ancient town, so it ranked first among the four. In the counterclockwise direction, there are Sun Moon Gate, Lion Gate and Hengsheng Gate.
Lion Gate is the best preserved gate in Rong Da Village and the west gate of Rong Da Village. There are two doors, which are the main door and the secondary door. The door is thick, the fence is thick, and the gate is very strong. The round hole on the inner wall of the door is used to insert the door rod to resist foreign invasion. This used to be an ancient battlefield. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, Anbailism rebelled and broke through the first door, but did not enter the second door.
Hengshengmen, the south gate of Rong Da Village, the ancient town of Wanling, echoes the "Moon Gate" from a distance, which means "the sun rises and the moon rises". The old street of Ming and Qing Dynasties in the village goes up from this point as the highest point, which means that every official who passes through this gate will have a prosperous career, businessmen will also have a prosperous fortune and the realm of life will continue to sublimate.
Riyuemen is the north gate of the four gates in Rong Da Village. There is a Sun Moon Pavilion at the gate, which is a misty rain lane. "The bridge has been gathering clouds since ancient times, and the village looks at the sun and the moon." There is an ancient urn-shaped well in the door, with a depth of 12.2 meters. The back canal leads to the center of the river and is covered by a stone slab weighing more than one ton. This well was a combat readiness facility built during Jiaqing period to prevent being besieged by soldiers and bandits for a long time.
