Jiangdong Township is located in the northwest of Hengshan County, 47 kilometers away from the county seat. There was originally a plank bridge with two stone piers on the lower reaches of the Nanhe River in the township, named "Shuangdun Bridge", which later evolved into "Jiangdong Bridge", from which Jiangdong Township got its name (Jiangdong Bridge fell into disrepair in August 2008 Collapsed, rebuilt and completed at the end of 2008). In the early days of liberation, Jiangdong Township belonged to District 12. Jiangdong Township was established in 1956. In 1958, it belonged to the Hongqi People's Commune. The area around Chenglun Lijia'ao in this township contains kaolin (porcelain clay), gypsum, sodium-potassium feldspar and crystal stone deposits. Nancun Náncūn Piancun. It is located south of Bancang Bridge, hence its name.
