What are the rockeries?

Rocks are common in the following six types:

1, Melaleuca: It is a sedimentary rock with dark gray, brown and khaki tones, and some layers are mixed with gravel. Melaleuca stone is similar to the folding effect in traditional Chinese painting, with extremely hard texture, heavy weight, no water absorption and machinability.

2. Taihu Stone: Natural Taihu Stone has three colors: blue, white and black, with hard texture and non-drying penetration.

3, yellow wax stone: yellow wax stone is more common, of which pure bright yellow is more expensive, in addition to wax yellow, khaki, chicken oil yellow, egg yolk, ivory yellow, orange and other colors. Mainly produced in Guangdong and Guangxi, but also in Guangdong Dongjiang coast (Heyuan) and Chaozhou, with the best texture.

4. Shi Ying: Shi Ying, also known as Yingde Stone, is produced in yingde city, Guangdong. The natural color of Shi Ying is white. Due to weathering and rich impurities (such as copper and iron, etc. ), there are many colors, such as black, cyan, gray-black, light green and so on. Black and cyan are common, especially dark colors like paint, and stones are often mixed with white calcite stripes.

5. Tortoise stone: produced in the Yangtze River valley, it is hard stone with light brown color. The stone pattern follows the example of sawing with an axe, but it naturally cracks, which is most suitable for expressing loose stones for revetment and landscaping of large rivers.

6. Axe chopping stone: It is produced in many areas of China, especially in Wujin and Danyang, Jiangsu. Axe-splitting stone is a kind of hard stone, and its grain is similar to "axe-splitting stone" in Chinese painting.

In addition to these six kinds of commonly used stones, there are more common rockeries over 30 years old. For detailed price, origin, characteristics and picture introduction, you can go to (Lvman Garden Landscape Network) to check the article "The price of rockery rocks".
