In daily study, work or life, everyone must have come into contact with some commonly used couplets. Couplets were developed on the basis of ancient "peach charms" and "couples". The earliest Spring Festival couplets in China appeared more than a thousand years ago. So the question is, what kind of couplets are classic? The following are homophonic couplets that I have carefully compiled for reference only. You are welcome to read them. Homophonic couplet 1

First couplet: Wushan is as good as Wushan. Second line: How can water be as clear as a river?
First couplet: Maple trees are planted on the peak. The maples move when the wind blows, but the peak does not move. Second couplet: The herons stay on the roadside, and the herons are frightened by the dew. It is hard to be frightened by the road.

Don’t care about the east or the west, but the wine;
Whether it is prosperous or declining, just drink.
In the Qing Dynasty, the business of a tavern in Jiangnan was sluggish. A scholar wrote this couplet and the business gradually improved. "Guan" is a joke to "Guan", "Bai" is a joke to "Bar"
Minzi led the white ox past the prince's shop;
White Gong rode a black horse to the public smelting field.
A certain schoolboy put together a play by Confucian disciples. "Min Zi Qian" is a homology to "Min Zi Qian", "Bainiu" is a homology to "[Ran] Boniu", "Bai Gongqi" is a homology to "Baigong Qi", "Gong Ye Chang" is a homology to "Gong Ye Chang"
Shanghai scholars came down to the imperial examination just for the sake of writing;
The people of Huating suffered disasters, all because of their evil deeds.
In the Ming Dynasty, Zheng Luoshu, the magistrate of Shanghai, and Nie Bao, the magistrate of Huating, played against each other. "Luoshu" is a homologue of "Luoshu", "Niebao" is a homologue of "Nie Bao"
Sail with the wind and sail against the wind, the sail is slow and the sail is fast;

Standing a lake with rocks in the middle of the river is not a false island;

The rain hits the Confucian crown, like a wooden ladle holding oil;
The snow falls on the top of the monk's head, like a pound Powder hammer.
You Xiucai versus Monk Lei. "You" is a homologue of "you", and "lei" is a homologue of "thunder"
When the leaves fall and the branches wither, it depends on how the bachelor will bear fruit;
When the sword is chopped with an axe, even the governor must uproot his roots.
A bachelor versus a magistrate. "Du" is a homology to "蔸"
The lotuses fade and the lotuses remain, the fallen leaves return to their roots and become an old woman;
The grains mature into crops, and the chaff is blown away to make a bride.
Dialect. "Lao Lao" is a homophone to "Lao Ou", and "Bride" is a homophony to "New Grain". Couplet 5 is homophonic.
Couplet: Entry into the military body; out of the Hanlin body.
Analysis: Bathhouse Link. "Bingbu" is a homologue of "bingbu", cloth means meaning; "Hanlin" is a homologue of "sweat".
Couplet: There are so many gentlemen; there are so many villains like Fan Xu.
Analysis: Qin Guan’s collection of four verses on Su Shi. "Duohu" is a homology to "Duohu", and "fanxu" is a homology to "fanxu".
Couplet: The dog gnaws the bones on the river; the water flows on the east slope of the poem.
Analysis: Su Shi’s Seal of Buddha. "River" is a homology to "monk"; "Poetry" is a homology to "corpse".
Couplet: The wind blows the Arhat and shakes the monk; the rain hits the Vajra and drenches the Lord.
Analysis: A play between the Ming monks Yao Guangxiao and Lin Yushi. "Shake" is a homology to "Yao", and "Lin" is a homology to "Lin".
Couplet: You love the sheep, I love the etiquette; bystanders judge, the authorities are confused.
Analysis: In the Song Dynasty, Wang Zhongjia invited county officials to have a banquet, and the prostitutes paid for the wine. There were Yang Xiaoyu and Li Niang who were both good at sex and art. There is no couplet in the couplet. Later Wang and Ao Mi were fighting, and the county magistrate surnamed Shen was watching, so he got the next couplet. Couplet: Take off your clothes, take off your crown, and walk away, abandoning people to serve; abandon your armor, drag your soldiers away, and announce your blessing to the minister.
Analysis: Zhao Jiuling vs. Zhang Tao. "Geishi" is a homologue of "urgent matter", and "Shangshu" is a homologue of "Changshu".
Couplet: Huang Lai has no boundaries; Bai Gui has flaws.
Analysis: Both Bai and Huang of the Ming Dynasty conducted a collection of plays from the Book of Songs. "耉" is a homology to "dog", and "Gui" is a homology to "turtle".
Couplet: Seven water chestnuts and eight drops; ten hazelnuts and nine empty ones.
Analysis: The first couplet harmonizes with "everything is scattered", and the second couplet harmonizes with "ten towns and nine empty spaces".
Couplet: If it is not the dragon's tail, it must be the donkey's head.
Analysis: Mr. Xie Feng Shui is good at flattery. "Kan" is a homologue of "cut".
Couplet: Confucius was born in Zhouwei; the light dance originated in Hanzhong.
Analysis: Lin Daqin versus the fisherman. "Zhoumo" is a homologue of "Weekend"; "Guangwu" is a homologue of "Guangwu", Liu Xiu's reign name.
Couplet: In the Republic of China, there were tens of thousands of taxes; the world was too poor.
Analysis: Liu Shiliang. "tax" is a homophony of "sui", and "poverty" is a homophony of "ping". Homophonic couplet 6
1. The lotus (Lian) son feels bitter in his heart and the pear (li) son has soreness in his abdomen

6. According to legend, there was a child prodigy whom the prime minister loved as his son-in-law. When the prime minister was having a banquet, he sent out a couplet in front of a full room of guests to invite his son-in-law to say: "Because of the lotus, I got the lotus root." The son-in-law pointed to the fruits on the mat and replied: There are apricots and brussels plums. The homophonic pronunciation used here (Lotus - Ho, Lotus Root - Ou, Xing - Xing, Plum - Matchmaker) expresses other meanings wonderfully, and the guests immediately understood it and praised it again and again.
7. Confucius was born in Zhou Dynasty (Zhou Dynasty), Wei Guangwu (Wu Dynasty) and started in Hanzhong

9. Ni Fei He Shang Shou (Ni Fei Monk Slim) Dial "Yin Gui" is short and Yaksha is long (Ghost is short and Yaksha is long) p>
The first couplet means: The soil is fertile, but the seedlings are still weak.
The meaning of the second line is: the time the sun spends in the sky is getting shorter and shorter (the so-called sundial is short, which is a natural phenomenon that occurs after the summer solstice), and the time difference between day and night is getting longer and longer.
10. The children are playing with pomeloes when they fall, and the children are happy; the children are picking pomeloes, and the pomeloes are finished, and the children are playing.

1. Three sips of water from the spring tea; two mountain men from Zhuxian Temple.
Appreciation: There was a Zhuxian Temple Teahouse in Qianjiang County, Hubei Province during the Qing Dynasty. During the Kangxi period, Hu Jianzhi wrote this couplet for the teahouse. The word "pin" in the first couplet was split into three "mouths" and "quan". "" is split into "white" and "water"; "bamboo" in the second line is split into two "pieces", and "immortal" is split into "mountain" and "people".
2. Ask Guanyin why he sits upside down; he hates all living beings and refuses to look back.
Appreciation: Couplet of Tianhou Temple in Rizhao, Shandong. The Guanyin statue in Tin Hau Temple faces north and is known as the Sitting upside down Guanyin.
3. One man, one hat, one beard, one foot long pole and one inch hook; one mountain, one river, one bright moon, one person fishing alone in the sea.
Appreciation: The number couplets of fishing in Laoshan, Qingdao, are quite charming.
4. One sheep leads to two lambs; two pigs lead to one trough.
Appreciation: There was a scholar in the Jin Dynasty who believed that he was good at poetry and prose, and often wrote couplets to mock people. One day, he and his friends were having dinner together. When he saw a woman leading two children through the door, he said the first couplet to mock him. Unexpectedly, the woman glared at him, retorted and said: Second line.
5. Go in with a grin on your face; stand out with your chest and belly out.
Hengpi: What a pleasure!
Appreciation: This is a couplet hanging on the wall of the toilet door described in the storytelling, describing the appearance of people going to the toilet.
6. Get great relief; have small advantages.
Appreciation: Li Danyu of Xinhui in the Republic of China wrote a couplet for the public toilet. The first couplet is a Buddhist idiom, and the second couplet is a common saying, with "Da Jie" and "Urine" embedded in it.
7. The pits are full of pits, and the valleys are full of valleys; the house is not closed at night, and the road is not picked up.
Appreciation: The old-style toilets had a pit dug into the ground. Going to the toilet was called a "pit". This couplet is dedicated to the old-style toilets.
8. Bow as if you were doing it; cover your nose and pass by.
Appreciation: This is a couplet used in old-style toilets. Old toilets cannot flush away dirt quickly with water, so they stink.
9. There is nothing to be satisfied with until now; who wouldn’t come here in a hurry?
