I wonder if you have seen the movie Hello, Mr. Tree by Wang. It tells the story of a mentally abnormal person who became a master of Feng Shui in the village.
I actually played the role of Mr. Tree.
When I came to the company, the construction of Thames Town had been going on for several years. At that time, the project manager took me around the construction site or something. At that time, I felt that the construction was chaotic and the construction workers were as busy as headless flies. At a meeting, I put forward the idea of beware of rotten tails.
Later, I also mentioned below that I wanted to do project planning.
Finally, one day, the female secretary of the then chairman Yu Ning called me to his office.
He asked me how I felt about working for so many hours, and I bluntly said that the architectural design and construction of Thames Town were not harmonious and unified. Of course, this is my intuition. Yu Ning said nothing at that time and patted me on the shoulder.
Later, after a while, it was reported that a glass ball restaurant would be built in Dongshui. Needless to say, this is due to the general opinion. Only he dares to shoot this board.
I thought he was still good. After a while, Thames Town was built, just like it is now. Looks stable. In fact, I think with this glass ball, it looks like a turtle on an airplane.
I think this design is more grounded. It turned out that the whole project had been completed peacefully, and after several years of success in Thames Town, Mr. Yu was promoted to deputy head of the district.
But in the first year, I went crazy when I was working on my next project, Guangfulin Ruins Park.
In fact, when Yu Zong was here, he called me to his office for the second time. He showed me the model of the ruined park, and the idea of three roofs on the water was his. Of course, he is very proud.
I felt bold, but I didn't feel anything about this project, so I didn't mention anything that time. He handed me a cigarette.
After that, like Mr. Shu, he was no longer in favor. Until the opening of Guangfulin Ruins Park this year, I silently worked on archives and security. Apart from writing an article "Guangfulin in my hometown" on the company's website, I have made no contribution to Guangfulin, but I still insist on my view that many developments can only be successful if they are combined with local conditions.
I have been in Xincheng Company for nearly fourteen years. When I first came, Yu Zong and some cadres took me to drink like big leaders. I am flattered, but I think I am right about them. Apart from obeying superiors, they have no ideas of their own, just like some employees now. Of course, the company also needs people like that.
I feel lucky, especially when we are always around.
Looking back on all this, I am always grateful.
