Love Evening Pavilion was founded by Luo Dian, president of Yuelu Academy, in the 57th year of Qing Qianlong (1792). Together with Zuiweng Pavilion in Chu County, Huxin Pavilion in Hangzhou West Lake and Taoranting Pavilion in Beijing Taoranting Park, it is called the four famous pavilions in China.
