The Harbin Confucian Temple has a history of nearly a hundred years. Although it is a building from the Republic of China, it still contains many vicissitudes of historical stories. You can feel the essence of the thousand-year Chinese civilization here. Let me share with you the 2018 List of Harbin Confucian Temple opening hours.
Harbin Confucian Temple opening hours:

Harbin Confucian Temple in 2018 Address:
No. 25, Wenmiao Street, Nangang District, Harbin City
Not far from Jile Temple, there is a bustling downtown. I lower my head and think while walking among the crowds. After walking for a long time, I feel The surroundings gradually became less irritating and more refreshing. When I looked up again, I suddenly found that the surrounding cars and people had become less and less. On the left, an ancient building with carved beams and painted beams was right in front of me.
Confucian temples were places that worshiped and worshiped Confucius in ancient times. They can be found almost everywhere. However, it is rare that such a large and complete one remains in major cities across the country. Harbin is an example.
This place was built during the Republic of China and has a history of less than a hundred years. However, the storms and wars in these hundred years were enough to make it dilapidated and withered. Therefore, in recent days, the Confucian Temple has been undergoing renovations, which has reduced the vicissitudes of life.
However, cultural memory can still travel through thousands of years of time and space. I am from Shandong, and because of my love for traditional culture, I still know a little more about the Tao of Confucius and Mencius than my peers.
I walked past the archway with the words "virtue matches heaven and earth" written in regular script and turned to the right. I saw the statue of Confucius, the east and west rooms, the big tree in the courtyard, the verandahs on both sides, and the west side for banquets. For food, the east head can be slaughtered. To be honest, all the shapes are similar in different places, but I still feel a little surprised when I see them in the far north of China.
In the past few years, I have briefly read "The Analects of Confucius", "Three Rites of the Zhou Dynasty", "The Book of Songs", "The Book of Changes" and other traditional cultural books related to Confucius, but I have only scratched the surface and failed to delve deeper.
However, under the triple education of family, society and school, "benevolence, righteousness, etiquette, wisdom and trustworthiness" are still deeply imprinted in my mind. I know that Confucian culture is indeed important in traditional Chinese culture. It occupies the most important position, so that all the schools of thought are too small and weak compared to Confucius and Mencius.
In the real world of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, this was certainly not the case. I like Lao Zhuang, Han Feizi, and Lie Yukou. I can still recite the "Autumn Water" in the "Nanhua Sutra Nei Chapter". The mythology in the opening chapter of "Han Feizi: The Five Worms" is rich in mythology. The fable of Lie Zi who controls the wind with his own strength makes me Fascinated.
Confucius lectured in Xingtan, with three thousand disciples and two out of seventy sages. However, his ideas were only ranked alongside Taoism, Dharma, Mohism, Yin and Yang, etc. at that time. , "Only respecting Confucianism" established the orthodox status of Zhongni's Confucianism. This suddenly influenced China for two thousand years.
In the Dacheng Hall, Confucius was sitting upright, and his disciples were standing around him. These names were familiar to him: Yan Hui, Zi Lu, Min Sun, and Zeng Shen.
For thousands of years, no matter how solid the land is, it cannot stop the decay of their bodies, but a copy of "The Analects of Confucius" has firmly engraved their names.
The memorial tablets dedicated to the clan in Chongsheng Temple are solemn and solemn. Their names are as ancient as Uncle Liang He, the father of Confucius, which even makes my memory vague. Fortunately, they all exist in In China’s cultural memory, future generations can continue to admire it.
In recent years, there has always been a critical attitude toward Confucianism, which restricts Chinese people's thinking. I believe that the Chinese people have further developed Confucianism since the Song and Ming dynasties, but this has also restricted Chinese people’s thinking. From then on, they have become more focused on the past than on the present, making it difficult to accept new things from outside.
I know that when the Qing Dynasty built railways, officials were afraid of disturbing Feng Shui, and when photography was introduced, senior officials were worried about capturing souls. Even the young emperor who wanted to learn to ride a bicycle was blocked by ministers, because everything was blocked. We must comply with the etiquette and laws and follow the instructions of our ancestors.
They are ignorant and firmly believe that the use of magic can withstand the impact of strong ships and cannons; they are numb and choose to stand by while their compatriots are being slaughtered; they are pathetic and devote their great energy to intrigues; they are hateful , killing the buds of economic development in its early stages.
Decades before Columbus, Chinese ships sailed across the oceans under the leadership of Zheng He. However, by the Opium War in 1840, the gap between China and the Western powers could no longer be measured. During this period, Over time, China fell behind.
In the process of development, Japan chose the Meiji Restoration and embarked on the path of enriching the country and strengthening its military. However, the Westernization Movement and the Reform Movement of 1898, which were both in the 19th century, did not dare to touch the political constitution at all, and there is no other way to talk about it. From now on, China is destined to be bullied.
In fact, the people under the influence of Confucianism have not fundamentally changed yet. They firmly believe that "Yin Yang and the Five Elements are the greatest wisdom of the ancients."
They do not know that science does not distinguish between national boundaries. They emphasize that "Eastern science cannot be measured by the standards of Western science." They talk about modern science and do not recognize Yin Yang and the Five Elements because it will be subverted by Chinese culture.
They firmly believe that eating raw eggplants and loaches can cure diseases, and that masters using qigong can extinguish forest fires and change the atomic structure. They have been sleeping for generations, unable and unwilling to wake up. They do not know that their words and deeds are not only harmful to Helping China only hinders the development of science and technology. If things go on like this, China will continue to lag behind.
"I dare not forget about my country despite my humble position." Every time I think of this, my blood boils and my eyes fill with tears, but I am powerless and can only sigh to myself.
Of course Confucius is not guilty. After all, his views and education ushered in a new trend of the times. "Education without discrimination" has a particularly huge impact on us. Compared with other scholars, he was lifted up by later generations. The altar has been standing high ever since.
It is his successors who use the distorted so-called "Confucianism" to resist the development of society. This is personally unacceptable to me. I love traditional culture and protect traditional culture, but the mindset formed by certain traditional cultures is really not conducive to the development of science and technology. They can only be allowed to enter museums and memorial halls so that people can pay homage to them.
Leaving the Confucian Temple and walking out of the archway of "Daoguan Ancient and Modern" on Shunyi Road is still a reminder of Confucius. When I come here, I am also nostalgic for the past. It is certainly not the nostalgia for the Han Dynasty articles and the atmosphere of the prosperous Tang Dynasty that I often think about. I also continue to look back, like everyone else, to the elegance of the Spring and Autumn Period.
If I could step into a tunnel of time and travel back 2,500 years to follow Zhongni, I would definitely help him enrich the Analects of Confucius so that future generations can always seek the best when interpreting and analyzing those texts. If we seek new changes instead of blindly worshiping the past and the first, then China today must be completely different.
