Who knows why there are no jujube trees on Zaoshan Mountain?

Jujube hill is located at the junction of Baita Manchu Township and Yuantai Manchu Township in Tianxing City, belonging to the southeast branch of Tianlong Mountain. In ancient times, jujube trees were dense on gentle slopes. Jujube can be picked everywhere in autumn. But now there are no jujube trees on the mountain, right? This has to start with an interesting story. According to legend, during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, a man named Hou Xishan moved his family from Hebei to Guanwai, and first settled in Weizigou (Manchu Township, Xingcheng Yaowang). Weizigou has a long ditch surrounded by mountains and covered with reeds. At first, we were able to live a good life while waiting for land reclamation, farming and raising cattle and sheep. Later, the population increased, and the land for women and girls was less. Coupled with years of floods and cattle and sheep plagues, life became more and more difficult. One day, Hou Xishan found a feng shui master, and the feng shui master held his nose and said, "It is unlucky to live in Weizigou. If the monkey lives in jujube hill, his life will be prosperous. " So Hou Xishan decided to find a place with dates and take the whole family to live, so he sent two sons to choose a good place. One day, his eldest son was really waiting to go to the revolution in vain to listen to Qingshui County. He was very happy when he heard that there was a jujube hill in the east of this place. When he went to jujube hill to see the terrain, he saw that the mountains were gentle, the jujube trees were overgrown, and there was plenty of water. He hurried home to report. Hou Xishan was overjoyed at the introduction of his eldest son, and immediately decided to leave Weizigou and move his family to jujube hill. When they arrived in jujube hill, they started their business. In order to build houses, they cut down some jujube trees on the sunny side of the mountain to make house wood. The vacated areas were reclaimed to grow crops, and they lived a well-fed life. However, year after year, the population gradually increased, and jujube trees had to be destroyed to build houses and grow crops. After Guo Guo was in charge of the family business, the population increased, and the trees on Zaoshan gradually disappeared. In spite of this, the old waiting family can't live in the same place. There are two villages, jujube hill and Lower jujube hill, on Zaoshan Mountain. Although there are no dates in jujube hill, the old waiting family still remembers Mr. Feng Shui that "monkeys live in jujube hill, and the day can be prosperous." If he finally changed the name of the mountain, the name jujube hill would never stop.
