Marshal Lin is located on Zicun Mountain, 30 kilometers east of Fushun. Since then, it has been prominent to the south, and the Hunhe River flows around the southeast and west on three sides, facing Tiebei Mountain across the water. 1on the morning of June 4, 928, Zhang was killed by the Japanese army when he returned to Huanggutun by train from Beijing. The Zhang family searched for a cemetery for him, sent Mr. Feng Shui to visit the famous mountains and rivers in Liaoning and Shenyang, and finally took a fancy to this hill.
Zhang Xueliang and his wife Wu Yitai decided to build a mausoleum for Zhang Jianyi here. Marshal Lin was built in May 1929 and lasted for three years. The cemetery covers an area of 14.5 hectares and consists of Fangcheng, Garden City and Tomb Area, with a total cost of 1400 yuan. The overall building of the cemetery is large in scale, rigorous in layout, and brilliant in gold wall, which absorbs the customs of imperial cemeteries in past dynasties and has the new idea of combining Chinese and western. Fangcheng high wall, the main entrance was originally imitated in Ming and Qing Dynasties, with a single eaves resting on the mountain, blue tiles from top to bottom, fine painting, and bunkers built at four corners. The September 18th Incident happened when the mausoleum city was about to be built, so it was not buried, and an empty mausoleum was formed.
Zhang was named Marshal Lin because he was neither an emperor nor a general. Now Marshal Lin is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit. There are the largest stone carvings of Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern calligraphy inscriptions in northern China, which are comparable to the outer three tombs of Qing Dynasty. The cemetery stands on the top of Gaogang, facing the water and the sun, and is reflected on the sinking wall, rippling with blue waves and glittering with gold. Looking from a distance, pine needles are newly picked, lush, and the eaves are upturned; Recently, I heard birds singing in Songtao. The cemetery was silent and there were cultural relics everywhere. Marshal Lin has become a famous scenic spot in Northeast China, with many tourists all year round.
