Manjusri Bodhisattva came to China from India. Why did she choose Wutai Mountain for Dojo life?

Wutai Mountain has always been a place where Buddhist believers frequently worship, and it is also regarded by Buddhists as the Dojo of the abbot of Manjusri Bodhisattva, and people who come here are always talking about it. When Manjusri Bodhisattva came to China from India, she chose Wutai Mountain as the Dojo to live in, because the Tripitaka, the treasure of Manjusri's teachings, said: "At that time, the Buddha replied to the main bodhisattva of King Kong that after my death, there was a big country name in the northeast of the island, and there were five mountains in it. Manjusri taught the boy to March and live, which was a statement to all sentient beings.

1. Buddhabhadra in the Eastern Jin Dynasty translated Hua Yan Jing, Volume 29, Bodhisattva Residence, saying: "There is a Bodhisattva Residence in the Northeast, named Liang Qing. In the past, all bodhisattvas lived in it. It is often said that 10,000 Bodhisattvas bring their families.

He has an existing bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, and 10,000 bodhisattvas, who are often used to talk about Buddhism. "("Zheng Da Zang "Volume 9, page 590) The northeast of ancient India is the north of China, and Liang Qingshan is Wutai Mountain. According to Buddhist scriptures, Manjusri Bodhisattva led ten thousand Bodhisattvas to become the abbot of Liang Qing as soon as possible.

Secondly, Manjusri issued the Maharani Sutra: "At that time, the master replied to the main bodhisattva, the secret of King Kong, saying that after my death, there was a famous name in the northeast of Divination Island, with mountains and five in number. Manjusri was born in the parade of boys, which is the speech of all beings. "

Manjusri Bodhisattva often shows Wutai Mountain in various capacities in order to educate the people. It is said that a naked party was held in Wutai Mountain. A poor old woman took two children and a dog to beg for food, and the monks in the temple gave three points of food per head.

The old woman said, my dog wants one, too. But there were too many poor people begging, and the abbot worried that there was not enough distribution, so he didn't give it to her. Spicy mother-in-law argued that all beings are equal and dogs should share a piece of the action. Everyone thought that the old woman was unreasonable, so they cut off a lock of hair to reveal the true body of Manjusri Bodhisattva, took it off, and the two children became servants of the Bodhisattva, and the puppy became a green lion. Only then did everyone know that Manjusri Bodhisattva enlightened all beings, so they built a tower to worship the Bodhisattva.

Therefore, people admire Manjusri Bodhisattva, so its position in people's minds is very important. Buddhism also has a classic basis for taking Wutai Mountain as Manjusri Dojo.
