Basics of home feng shui-----sitting direction (1)

This blog post may be a bit long, but in order to let everyone clearly understand the importance of sitting direction and clearly distinguish the sitting direction in modern apartments, there is no way. In this blog post, I will share some of the theories about residential orientation in the family biography "Geographical Breathing Theory", hoping that everyone can distinguish the sitting orientation of the house type, with only one purpose: to spread the orthodox Chinese culture. 1. The importance of sitting direction

From my previous article "Basics of Home Feng Shui - House Type (2)", you can see that each pattern is marked with front, rear, left and right, and the ones in the picture The basis for judgment is based on the four-image theory of front, rear, left, and right, and the four-image theory is the most basic theory in Feng Shui. Therefore, how to identify the sitting direction of the house - front, rear, left, and right, has become another aspect of home Feng Shui. Base.

If we compare building a house to building a car, then the house type is the frame. When you are given a frame, the most basic thing is that you have to know what type of frame it is; then you have to figure it out. The direction of the frame, which is the front of the car, and which is the rear of the car. Only by identifying the direction can you know the installation positions of the engine, front and rear wheels, steering wheel, seats, car shell, cargo compartment, etc. If you can't even tell the front and rear direction of the frame, you can't install and build the car. In the same way, if you are given a house type and you can’t tell the sitting direction, front, rear, left, and right of this house clearly, you can’t talk about Feng Shui; because you can’t even find the direction, how can you know the kitchen, stove, and toilet? What are the pros and cons of the layout of beds, living rooms, etc.?

If we compare the Feng Shui layout of a house to driving a car, then the entire house is a car. You must first find the front and rear of the car. Only when you identify the front and rear of the car can you know where the steering wheel is. The glass window in front of the steering wheel is a device that facilitates route finding; you can only start walking if you know the direction of travel, otherwise disaster will come instantly. In the same way, the seating direction of a house is like the front and rear of a car. If you can't even tell the seating direction, how are you going to arrange the layout of your house? There is transparent glass in front of the steering wheel to help you recognize the road. If you install it in the wrong direction and cover the glass window with a large iron plate, the disaster can be imagined; for example, the front of the apartment is required to be spacious and bright, but you can't tell where to sit. If you put the toilet there to block it, you can imagine the good and bad consequences.

So I regard sitting orientation and house type as the two foundations of home feng shui. They are parallel. House type is the material foundation, and sitting direction is the theoretical foundation. One yin and one yang complement each other, and one is missing. It cannot be said about Feng Shui.

2. How to identify the sitting direction of an apartment?

The orientation of ancient houses is easy to see. Whether it is in a rural area or a market, everyone can clearly see it because it is only one or two stories high and is a single-family house. However, modern buildings are diverse, with various shapes and criss-crossing internal structures. Each building has dozens of floors, and each floor is divided into several households, so it is relatively complex, resulting in different sitting directions and floor types of units on each floor. structural differences.

How to identify the sitting direction of modern apartments is the first hurdle that many Feng Shui masters and Feng Shui enthusiasts consider, and it is also a problem that has always puzzled everyone. Some are oriented to the door; some are oriented to the floor; some are oriented to the balcony; some are oriented to the window; some are oriented to the height and trend of the terrain; all of them are different, and there is no unified statement. Sometimes I see some descriptions of Feng Shui arrangements, which are simply horrible; some Yi scholars are clever and use a compass to measure the Bagua position when entering the house, and directly use the Bagua to judge and adjust. However, if the correct sitting direction is not found, How do you move Qi and push stars?

Hereby, I would like to publish some of the theories in my family biography "The Theory of Geographic Fetal Breathing" for my friends who like me:

The ancients based on the harmony between nature and man The first point of view is that the fetus is born from the yin and yang qi of the parents and is conceived in the womb. When a person comes to the world, he needs the creation of the yin and yang qi of heaven and earth and is conceived in a house. Therefore, the house is regarded as the second womb for people's survival. .

If the house is damaged, it is like the womb being damaged; if the environment around the house is damaged, it is like the mother carrying the womb is damaged; if the house is safe, it is like the womb is safe; if the environment around the house is safe, it is like the mother's body being safe. . These residential studies based on the concept of the unity of man and nature were later gradually improved and developed into Feng Shui, which includes the impact of geographical environment on people's health, life span, property, official fortune, literary talent, etc.

All the survival nutrients of the fetus in the womb are transported through the umbilical cord. During the fetal development period, whether the fetus’ head is up or the fetus’ head is turned down, the umbilical cord is the substance that maintains the fetus’ life. aisle. No matter whether the fetus's head is facing up or turned down, the position of the uterine opening will never change. It will always be below the mother's body and connected to the vaginal opening, because these two openings are where the fetus transfers from congenital to acquired. door of passage. If we compare the uterus to a house, then the umbilical cord is the material passage for the fetus, which is called the "trauma", and the uterine mouth is the direction in which the fetus is moving, which is called the "toward port". The ancients said: "The breath from the mouth is the best for a house, and the mouth receives the help of the three auspicious things." This also coincides with the fetal breath sitting direction theory.

When a baby comes into the world, it becomes a member of the world's creatures. In addition to the necessary material nutrients and air, the growth of all living things requires the cooperation of light. This is the ultimate theory that the growth of all living things depends on the sun. Just like the principle of material combustion, it is not enough to have material and ignition points, but also oxygen to support combustion. Therefore, light source and searching for light source are the direction and route for the growth of all things.

Therefore, if we use the theory of fetal breath to analyze a house, we know that the door of the house is the air vent, which is the material transportation channel of the house, just like the umbilical cord of the fetus; and the windows or other maximum lighting directions are the air vents of the house. Towards the mouth, it acts like the mouth of the uterus.

Friends must distinguish the difference between the air port and the inward port. Some air inlets are in the same direction as the inward port, and some are in different directions. Just like driving a car, the steering port is in front of the steering wheel, and the air vents are on the left and right side of the car door. Some back-up models can be accessed from the back; if it is a fighter jet, you can also throw the cover from the front air port to get in.

Now that we have talked about it, everyone should finally understand the principle of sitting direction of a house: that is, the direction with the largest indoor lighting area is - - direction; the direction opposite to the direction is - - sitting direction. We also call sitting as the back, and facing as the front.

As long as the front and rear are clearly distinguished, there is no need for me to say more about the left and right. Everyone can use the four-image theory of front, rear, left, and right to make judgments. Regardless of the house type, outdoor environment, or indoor layout, everything should be based on this theory. Base.

Of course, it is best to use a compass to distinguish the twenty-four mountain directions of the sitting direction and the degrees of the surrounding sky. This is called subtlety. 3. Sit facing the general idea

1. A single one-way building. This kind of building has only one household on each floor, or only one household in each building. Needless to say, this kind of sitting orientation has been the most common ancient custom in China for thousands of years.

2. Single building with two directions. If there are two households on the same floor, the sitting directions may be different, as shown below:

3. Single three-dimensional building. If there are three households on the same floor, the sitting directions may be different, as shown in the following diagram:

4. Single building with four directions. If there are four or more households living on the same floor, the sitting directions may be different, as shown in the following diagram:

At the same time, don’t mistakenly think that looking for the sitting direction means looking for the balcony, because some balconies do not have enough lighting. Not much light enters the room. I have encountered several cases. Some balconies are on the left and right sides, and some are even back balconies!
