Liu Bowen in the Ming Dynasty, why did his master Zhu Yuanzhang dig his grave after his death?

Thousands of years have passed, and the history of Long song has been handed down from generation to generation. Hello, everyone, I am reincarnation.

As we all know, in the history of China, there is an almost vivid description of Zhuge Liang. His name is Mr. Wolong. He can pinch and calculate, know astronomy above and geography below, and read widely. He helped Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Quan divide the world into three parts, helped the Han Dynasty, and was made a loyal monarch. But there is such a person who can keep pace with Zhuge Liang. There is a folk saying: "Three points of wisdom in the world, Liu Bowen is unified". This man is Liu Bowen who helped Zhu Yuanzhang create the Ming Dynasty. It can be said that Liu Bowen made great contributions to the Ming Dynasty. However, it is such a hero. Why did his master Zhu Yuanzhang dig his grave after his death?

First, introduce Liu Bowen and Liu Bowen (1311July1375 May 16), surnamed Liu, Ming nationality, Han nationality, word Bowen, Nantian Township, qingtian county (now wencheng county, Zhejiang Province) In the ninth year, Wu Zongzheng granted a surname posthumously, posthumous title Wencheng, who was later called He Wencheng Gong. Liu Ji knows the history of classics, knows astronomy and can choose soldiers. He assisted Zhu Yuanzhang to complete the imperial industry, founded the Ming Dynasty, and tried his best to maintain the stability of the country, so he became famous all over the world and was compared to Zhuge Wuhou by later generations.

In the eighth year of Hongwu (1375), at the end of the month (Zhu Yuanzhang had sat firmly on the river), Liu Ji caught cold. When Zhu Yuanzhang knew about it, he sent Hu to see Liu Bowen, and the physician prescribed a prescription. Liu Bowen took the medicine according to the prescription, but his condition still didn't improve after taking the medicine. He felt as if there were stones in his stomach, which made him feel uncomfortable.

In mid-February, Liu Bowen came to see Zhu Yuanzhang and expressed his discomfort after taking the medicine, but Zhu Yuanzhang just said a few words of comfort, which made Liu Bowen feel cold.

By the end of March, Liu Bowen had been unable to exercise. Accompanied by his eldest son, Mclynn Killman Liu, he returned to his hometown. After returning to China, he refused all medication and just maintained a normal diet. A few days later, Liu Bowen died. Although Liu Bowen died of illness, later people were more willing to believe another possibility, that is to say, Liu Bowen was poisoned by Hu, and the person who gave orders might be Zhu Yuanzhang. (Note: Zhu Yuanzhang is the principal offender and Hu is an accessory)

I think this statement is very possible. After all, Zhu Yuanzhang once killed many great heroes. The facts are there, and there are not a few people who think so. Also, according to unofficial history's records, after Liu Bowen's death, Zhu Yuanzhang personally dug Liu Bowen's grave.

As we all know, Liu Bowen, like Zhuge Liang, can be said to be miraculous and proficient in astronomy, geography and geomantic omen, not to mention looking for dragons to find caves.

Shortly after Liu Bowen's death, Zhu Yuanzhang listened to Hu's slanderous remarks and said: Liu Bowen knows the art of geomantic omen, and may find himself a dragon cave after his death.

Hearing this, Zhu Yuanzhang understood. Isn't this bad for Daming Mountain? Then he sent someone to dig Liu Bowen's grave. As a result, Zhu Yuanzhang dug it out and looked dumbfounded. I saw an open book beside Liu Bowen, which read five big characters: "Whoever opens the coffin to see the body will die."

Zhu Yuanzhang, hurriedly let people buried Liu Bowen again.

In fact, what Liu Bowen found for himself was an ordinary grave (note: Liu Bowen was buried in the country in midsummer), without any funerary objects, but only a book with him.

Originally, these five words were not enough to scare Zhu Yuanzhang, but this book is of great significance to the Ming Dynasty. This book is the grand ceremony of the Ming Dynasty-Daming Law.

Daming Law is the abbreviation of Supplementary Provisions on Collection and Interpretation of Daming Law. This is of epoch-making significance in the legal history of China. Daming Law was first created in the battle between Jin Ge and Ma Tie, and completed in the Hongwu era. This Dafa not only inherits the historical advantages of ancient Chinese legal documents before the Ming Dynasty, but also summarizes the history of ancient Chinese legal compilation. Moreover, it initiated the legislative activities in China in the Qing Dynasty and even in modern times, and provided some valuable references for the construction of modern legal system in China.

However, there is an article in the Daming Law that says "whoever opens the coffin to see the corpse will die". It was originally aimed at those who robbed the tomb, but it was not applied to his master Zhu Yuanzhang first. Zhu Yuanzhang was ashamed to see his own laws, but he committed them first, so he had Liu Bowen buried.

Finally, according to historical records, after Liu Bowen's death, Liu Bowen's two sons were killed one after another, and Liu Bowen was never seen again. Liu Bowen's eldest son: Mclynn Killman Liu, born in 1348 (the eighth year of Yuan Shundi) and 1377 (the tenth year of Ming Hongwu), died because he was forced into the well. Liu Bowen's second son, Liu Jing, was born in 1350 (the tenth year of Yuan Shundi). Later, he bluntly said to Ming Chengzu, "After your highness dies, you can't escape a usurper." Arrested and imprisoned, hanged himself in prison. Liu Bowen's genealogy, Liu Ji's ancestor can be traced back to Liu Yanqing, the seventh ancestor. Before that, it was difficult to verify, only knowing that the Liu family lived in a rich area.

Conclusion: Whether Liu Bowen's death had anything to do with Zhu Yuanzhang or not, according to historical records, Zhu Yuanzhang was very harsh on heroes, and it was also true that he killed the minister. It's a pity that Liu Bowen was loyal all his life, but the final title was not obtained from the current dynasty, but was added during the Ming Wuzong period, which made people feel chilling. What is even more heartbreaking is that even the only remaining descendants were killed after the founding father Liu Bowen.

Conclusion: What do you think of this?
