Once, the Eight Immortals passed five mountains, but when they saw the mountains towering into the sky, they were very surprised, but they didn't see any green grass. They asked the mountain god. Knowing that there are fire dragons here, the dry land around Wuduo Mountain is cracked, the grass is dead and the wood is dead, and the particles are not harvested. People can't make ends meet, so fly away. Hearing this, the Eight Immortals made up their minds to rule the mountain and benefit all living things. Through the efforts of the Eight Immortals, the Five Mountains are full of flowers, with lush vegetation and fruitful results.
After the Eight Immortals left, the mountain gods happily patrolled the mountain and went to the top of Wulian Mountain. He looked at a huge stone called Tianzhu Peak, which went straight into the sky and climbed up along the stone. Walking to the waist of Tianzhu Peak, I looked down and found a walnut-sized seed exposed in the gap and did not germinate. The mountain god wants to take this seed out and plant it somewhere else, but his hand is only half a finger away from the seed, and he can't take it out anyway. Helpless, the mountain god had to get some loess from other places, plant seeds and take a trip out of the mountain.
After 80 years, this seed broke ground and germinated, emerged from the stone peak halfway up Tianzhu Peak, and grew into a wild tea tree with a thick bowl. From a distance, the tree is lush with branches and leaves, and when you look closely, you can smell the fragrance. The locals call it "God Tea". In order to prevent the tea leaves from falling, the mountain god imitated his own hand and reshaped a "palm" with mud and stones. The two fingers and three fingers of the palm firmly encircle the tea tree. People call this kind of palm "cactus" to commemorate the mountain god. Thousands of years have passed, and this palm is still clearly left under the tree holding tea!
During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Sichuan monks visited Wuduo Mountain in a hollow way, only to see the towering peaks of Wuduo Mountain. They can't help but marvel at the magic of nature and praise "God-gave me a treasure trove of geomantic omen!" So he built a temple and settled down.
Soon, Queen Li, the mother of Emperor Wanli (Ming Yingzong), was blind because of an eye disease, so she couldn't drink soup. The imperial doctors in the palace have searched everywhere, and no one can cure them. Zongshen was in a hurry and made a list of the world: those who can be cured will be rewarded with two hundred gold and sealed with one official. I have been studying medicine for a long time, and I am skilled in medicine. I cured many incurable diseases during my trip. Knowing the origin of this kind of tea, he ventured to climb the cliff, picked a few leaves, prescribed a prescription, and rushed to Beijing with the prescription to cure the queen's illness. After taking a dose of medicine, Li Xinyu felt that his chest was generous, his appetite increased greatly, and his eyes itched. After taking three doses, Li Xinyu regained his sight and could look around freely. Shinto was overjoyed and sent a message saying that it would spend 22,000 yuan to build Wanshouguang Ming Temple in Wulian Mountain to protect the country. Celebrate my mother's opinion, wish my mother a long life, seek eternal consolidation in the Ming Dynasty, and change Wuduoshan into Wulian Mountain.
After the temple was completed, I didn't want to be an official, so I stayed in the temple as the host. My heart is empty and I accept 500 disciples, and I sing Sanskrit all day long. Wulian Mountain is full of fragrance and fog, so it is prosperous. After a few years, the heart died, and later temple owners made a rule: take a piece of tea every day, cook it into soup, and worship the heart. Others are not allowed to pick without permission, otherwise it will be handled according to the temple rules. Every time a monk smells its fragrance, his mouth is watering. Because the magic tea not only has the three virtues of "staying up all night when sitting still, helping digestion when full, but also can eliminate lung dysentery, protect health, protect teeth and improve eyesight, quench thirst and promote fluid production, and increase good roots. Therefore, drinking tea has become the best assistant of Zen. After extensive introduction and careful cultivation, monks pick buds and stir-fry Zen tea, which can be used by monks in the temple to drink, entertain donors or serve as affinity gifts. For a time, people rushed to the temple to get Zen tea.
