There are many tourist attractions in Beijing. The general suggestion is to go far first and then near, focus first and then average, and it is easier to go out early than late.
1. The cheapest way to get to the Badaling Great Wall is to take the subway and get off at Deshengmen, and take the 9 19 bus to the foot of Badaling Great Wall. The local train 10 yuan/person, and the express train runs every five minutes, which is cheap and fast. If you leave at six o'clock in the morning and come back from the Great Wall at one or two o'clock in the afternoon, you may see that the bus that leaves at 90 o'clock is still crawling on the expressway to Badaling.
There are many people in important tourist attractions, such as the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. An experienced tour guide will bring the tour group in before 8 o'clock, and there will be a sea of people after 10.
It is necessary to eat roast duck when traveling to Beijing. You may regret eating roast duck all your life, but it's better than not eating it all your life. There are many restaurants selling roast duck in Beijing, but not all of them can represent Beijing roast duck. There are only a few restaurants that can really eat authentic Beijing roast duck. The most important standard is that ducks should grow to more than 5 kg and 8 liang within 60 days, and only a few stores such as Quanjude and Cheap Shop can reach this standard.
Special suggestions for going to Beijing:
The Summer Palace is a must-see attraction for visitors to Beijing. Suggestions are as follows: To visit the Summer Palace, it is best to take bus No.332 to the East Palace Gate.
Enter Donggongmen to visit Ninjuji-Kunming Lake-Yulan Park-Leshou Hall-Promenade-Shifang-Suzhou Street and exit Beigongmen, or take a boat from Shifang to Longwang Temple and exit the South Gate of the Summer Palace.
However, before eight o'clock in the morning, because the Renshou Hall, Leshou Hall and other scenic spots are not open, you can consider entering from the North Palace Gate and leaving from the East Palace Gate.
Those who like cultural relics can visit Panjiayuan flea market (open on weekends) or Liulichang Cultural Street.
If you want to go to the Ming Tombs, you can consider going to Badaling Great Wall (a route, but note that Shuiguan Great Wall is not Badaling Great Wall). If you don't go to the Ming Tombs, you can go to Xizhimen Railway Station 16 at 7: 00 a.m. and then take a free train to visit Mutianyu Great Wall or Jinshanling Great Wall. There are also long-distance buses that go directly to these places and the Simatai Great Wall (in front of the church) in the southeast corner of Xuanwu Gate.
Beijing tourism advice:
D 1: The Foxiang Pavilion Scenic Spot in the Summer Palace is closed for maintenance, while other scenic spots are open as usual, and Yuanmingyuan (because the scenic spots in Yuanmingyuan are scattered and the time is tight, it can be omitted). If you are traveling with your children, you can consider visiting the campuses of Peking University and Tsinghua, or visiting the Science and Technology Museum in the North Third Ring Road.
D2: The flag raising in Tiananmen Square and some major scenic spots in the Forbidden City were not allowed to visit in 2005. In the future, we can consider going to the Forbidden City and Beihai (enter the front door of the Forbidden City, exit the back door, and then go to Shichahai).
D3: Shichahai, Gongwangfu (the best preserved palace in Beijing, once the home of Little Shenyang) and Guo Moruo's former residence. You can taste the barbecue season next to Shichahai Silver Ding Qiao and the tripe of a century-old shop.
D4: To visit the Great Wall, you can choose one of the following places.
1, Badaling Great Wall (the most majestic Great Wall in Beijing) and the Ming Tombs are the closest to the bus station and have the best management. The cheapest way to climb the Badaling Great Wall is to take the subway and get off at Deshengmen, and take the 9 19 bus to the foot of Badaling Great Wall.
2. Mutianyu Great Wall (beautiful and relatively safe in autumn);
3. The Simatai Great Wall, the most dangerous of the 27,000-kilometer Great Wall, is not suitable for the elderly;
Jinshanling Great Wall is more dangerous. Locals say that there are more foreigners climbing the Great Wall in Jinshanling than people in China. The section from Jinshanling to Simatai is the best route to climb the Great Wall. The train leaves Xizhimen Railway Station on 0/6 in the morning. After getting on the train, you'd better take 12 to 13, or you'll have to go ahead before getting off.
D5: Tiantan Park is not allowed to visit because of the maintenance of the Hall of Prayer for the New Year, so you can not go to the park and Dashilan at the front door (you can also enjoy all kinds of Beijing-style food at the front door). Those who like to collect can go to Panjiayuan flea market or Liulichang Culture Street.
D6: Lama Temple, Beijing Confucius Temple (inscribed by literati in Ming and Qing Dynasties), imperial academy (the highest institution of learning in feudal society) and Wangfujing Street.
Eating Beijing roast duck, visitors to Beijing often say, "It's a pity not to climb the Great Wall and eat roast duck."

2. One-day tour: Almost all day tours in Beijing are black cars (the same is true in other places), so it is best not to participate.
Visit the Great Wall: The best route is to take the subway to Deshengmen (3 yuan). If you want to save money, you can take the bus to Deshengmen (take the bus 1 to 1 yuan in Qianmen area), and then take the bus 9 19 from Deshengmen to Badaling, which is very convenient (local bus 5 yuan, express train 10 yuan). Don't take a one-day tour of the Great Wall. Except for bus 1 and bus No.2, almost all day trips are to Shuiguan Great Wall (not Badaling Great Wall, many guests don't know after swimming).
City Park: It is best not to take a one-day tour. Choose cheap parks, excluding the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. Generally, they are parks with higher discount tickets.
