General situation of Miao Ling
The altitude of Miao Ling is generally at 1, 200 ~ 1, 600 meters, and the peak is often above 1, 500 ~ 2000 meters. Leigong Mountain, the main peak in the east, is 21.79m, Wuyun Mountain in the middle is1.584m, and Jiaoshan Mountain is1.9665438m.. Miaoling has no geological structure, but is composed of several peaks and uplifted highlands, and consists of hard rock layers in the north-south anticline. There are great differences in geology and geomorphology between the eastern and western sections. The eastern part is a fault-block mountain composed of Proterozoic shallow metamorphic rocks, and the western part is a karst landform dominated by paleozoic and Mesozoic limestone. Its eastern part (east of Kaili and Danzhai) has strong cutting and the ground fluctuates greatly, with a relative height of 500-700 meters. It is a mountainous area with a valley basin in the middle. The west is composed of karst mountains, intermontane subsidence basins and relatively flat planation planes. The terrain is layered obviously, and the ground fluctuates slightly, but there are also peaks over 1700 meters standing on it. The layered landform formed by planation plane and large karst basin is the most obvious in Miaoling, thus forming unique landscapes such as planation plane, basin area and terraced fields hanging on the hillside. Miao Ling is a subtropical humid mountain area and one of the important forest areas in Guizhou Province. It is rich in Chinese fir, camphor, bamboo, subtropical fruits and flue-cured tobacco. Laowang Mountain in Liuzhi County, Wuyun in Guiding County and Leigong Mountain in Leishan County are called the three famous mountains in Miaoling.
