Fenjiezhou Island is located in the sea area at the junction of Lingshui and Wanning, Hainan Province, and it is a subsidence area extending from Niu Ling to the South China Sea. Fenjiezhou Island is located in the lower part of Niu Ling. Later, during the ice age, the seawater submerged the lower part, cutting off the connection between the boundary island and Niuling, thus forming what it is now.
Although the whole Hainan Island is in the tropics, there are many plains in the north and mountains in the south, so the warm air flow from the south is separated by east-west mountains, which leads to the climate difference between the front slope (south) and the back slope (north) of the mountains, so that this hill also has an impact on the climate in the southeast of Hainan Island.
Because of this, standing on the island of Fenjiezhou, you can often see the wonders of Niu Ling, such as "bull's head rain, ox's tail eye".
Extended data:
Niu Ling is also called Jieling, mainly because it is an important watershed of Hainan Island. Niu Ling is located at the junction of Wanning City and Lingshui Li Autonomous County, Hainan's eastern expressway, which is the best sea view point on the eastern expressway.
Niu Ling is also two other special demarcation points: Wanning in the north of Niu Ling and Lingshui County in the south; To the north of Niu Ling is the Han nationality inhabited area in Hainan, and to the south are the ethnic minorities inhabited areas such as Li, Miao and Hui. To the north of Niu Ling is the north tropical region, and to the south of Niu Ling is the middle tropical region.
