In the 18th year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (598), Nanbin County was established, and the county seat was located in Nanbin Village, next to Gucheng Middle School, which was the earliest organizational system of Lingshan. Until the tenth year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (636), Nanbin County moved to Fengzi Lingnan (now Li Tang Village, Sanhai Town), and Kyushu became a county for 38 years.
In the tenth year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (636), the state capital of Qinzhou was moved from Qinjiang County to Nanbin Village, and in the first year of Song Tiansheng (A.D. 1023), it was moved to Anyuan County (now Qin Zhou Town), with the old state as the capital, which lasted for 387 years. Therefore, the old state is called the "ancient city", which is also the origin of the name of the old state town.
