Where is the Kowloon Temple?

Jiulong Temple has three temples with the same name, which are located in Quanzhou, Fujian, Changzhou, Jiangsu and Xiaogan, Hubei. All three monasteries have their own history.

Quanzhou Jiulong Temple is located in Chenjiulou Mountain, the four corners of Hongsi Village, Luoxi Town, Luojiang District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, bordering Xianyou County, Putian City. Jiulou Mountain is the highest peak in Quanzhou, with an altitude of 885 meters, a latitude of 25.26 degrees north and an longitude of 1 18.68 degrees east. It is about 60 kilometers away from the center of Quanzhou and 20 kilometers away from the center of Xianyou County.

Changzhou Jiulong Temple is located in Xiaohe Jiulong Village, south of Huangyufeng, menghe town, Xinbei District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Huangshan Mountain, named after it, was the place where Huang Xie, son of Chun Shenjun of Chu State, studied during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Huangshan Mountain has Jiu Feng, which winds from west to east, just like nine dragons floating in the clouds. "The mountains and rivers are extremely high and have the potential to return to Kowloon", so it is also called Jiulong Mountain.

Dawu Jiulong Temple is located in Yangping Town, Dawu County, about 10 km southeast of the county seat. Kowloon Zen Temple was originally named "Baiyun Temple". According to legend, during the Zhenguan period of Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty, when two monks swam to Baiyun Mountain with wooden fish, they mainly visited the mountain and wanted to build a temple. It is called "Baiyun Temple" and its main peak is called "Dashan", also known as "Daisanji".
