Planting and Maintenance

Leitong should keep the basin soil moderately dry at ordinary times, do not water too much, avoid long-term rain, and apply a thin compound fertilizer once a month during the growth period. Water sparingly in winter and maintain a room temperature of around 10°C. Because Lei Tong grows quickly, overly dense branches should be thinned out in time to maintain the graceful shape of the plant. Those with poor plant shape can be re-pruned appropriately or repotted. The potting soil should be fertile sandy loam.

Propagation method
