(in front of the Eight Immortals Pavilion)
This Eight Immortals Pavilion is centered on a two-story pavilion and radiates around. There are eight small pavilions with pyramid-shaped roofs, each of which represents an Eight Immortals and is arranged in a gossip pattern. Looking from a distance, there are pavilions on the pavilion, pavilions under the pavilion, pavilions in the pavilion, pavilions overlap, pavilions are connected, and flyovers, pavilions, curved bridges, pontoons, temple lakes, mountains, verdant forests and bamboo forests set each other off, as if they were in Yaochi Wonderland.
(Tianyunge)
There is a portrait hanging on the front of Tianyunge, and couplets on both sides read: "Cultivate one's morality and seek truth, trace back to the famous mountains and show immortals." The book "he ye Yun Xiang" is written on the eyebrows on the roof. The person in the painting is the legendary figure of Chaoyang, the "mother louse fairy". At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, after the failure of the peasant uprising army in Chen Youliang, his men scattered and disappeared everywhere. Soon, a man who is proficient in Feng Shui and architecture appeared in Chaoyang County. He calls himself He and is said to be Chen Youliang's strategist Zou Pusheng. Legend has it that he has long hair, is covered with lice, is intelligent and often has fantastic ideas, so people call him "the mother louse fairy". Perhaps Xiancheng is the place where he often set foot, so it was named "Xiancheng", and Hu Xian was also named to commemorate this historical spectacle.
Gentlemen, what do you think is the magic of this portrait? That is to say, no matter which angle the viewer stands from, the eyes, mouth, toes and even the word "Zhouyi" in the book are all facing you, and they are called "vivid paintings" by the people. Most visitors to Huxian Scenic Area regard "living painting" as a quick pleasure. Legend has it that this painting was inspired by the artist by accident, and it is impossible to draw a second one in the future. This painting is 2m high and 1 m wide.
(in front of Sanxiantang)
We came to this spacious and magnificent "blessed land", where there are three temples, the most striking of which is the "Sanxiantang". Who do you think these three immortals are? One is Hua tuo's medicine fairy, the other is Li Bai's poetry fairy, and the other is He's mother louse fairy. Actually, these three historical figures from different times, different industries and different beliefs are called "three immortals" together, which shows that the imagination of Chaoshan artificial immortals is very rich. Fortunately, these three people are all people who are beneficial to the people in history and really deserve respect.
(Overlooking the Buddha's top for half a day)
Half-day Buddha Peak looks like sitting on a Buddha. There is a temple on the peak called "Half-day Buddha Temple". According to legend, it was built by Dafeng, a monk during the Song Xuanhe period. During the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, the national hero Zheng Chenggong fought against the Qing Dynasty in Chaoshan. He was stationed at the top of the Buddha for half a day, practicing martial arts diligently, and repeatedly defeated the Qing army. Legend has it that the mouse bit off the rope tied to the drum and mistakenly thought that the Qing army had attacked the camp and called the police. As a result, Zheng Jun rushed to meet the enemy, confused who was with whom, and even killed each other and lost again and again. At present, there are sites such as Gongpanshi, Talingzhai Mountain, Junzao, Paoma Avenue around the mountain, ancient wells dug by Zheng Jun himself, and West School Field.
