The unique bronze wares of Zhengjue Temple

The temple complex of Zhengjue Temple is magnificent and fascinating, enriching the galleries of ancient temple buildings in China. The cypress trees inside and outside the temple are lush and unique, adding a gorgeous stroke to the famous scenery of Sanjin. The first chapter of cypress in Jin, Yuan and Yuan was an inscription by the ancients for Zhengjue Temple, which shows the status of cypress at that time.

The cypress tree in Zhengjue Temple is said to have existed in the Tang Dynasty, so it is called Tang Bai. In order to distinguish the names, people roughly name the cypress trees in the temple with artificial structures and the cypress trees outside the temple with stars.

There is a big cypress tree on the edge of a ten-year-old cliff outside the original mountain gate. The tree leans forward slightly, and a long branch grows on its upper body, as if waving to the guests in the temple, so it is called "welcome cypress". There is a big cypress tree between the gate and the archway, and the two branches on it are together. It seems that people hate to cross their hands when they see guests asking questions, so they are called "guiding bodhisattvas".

Into the mountain gate, there are two big cypress trees, known as "two generals." There are eight cypress trees in the lower temple, four in the east and four in the west, which are called "Eight donkey kong" (three in the east, that is, the tree whose branches and leaves are dead in the street about 100 meters away from the gate). There are four giant cypresses in Shangsi Temple, two in the east and two in the west, which are called "Four Heavenly Kings" (the east one is the smallest of the four, that is, the one in the east of the temple gate now). In front of the south room of the Zen Hall on the east side of the Hall of Great Heroes, there is a giant cypress with a tree circumference of about 6 meters and deep roots. It's called "General's Hall". The West Temple is rooted under the altar, and its branches are wrapped around the outside of the temple, which is shaped like an umbrella. It is called "Houwei Temple". The cypress tree about 8 meters long and 10 meter high on the Temple Ping (today's stage) of the West Temple is called "after the Pingxi". There is a cypress tree above the bell tower. The Millennium can cure all diseases, so it is called the "medicine king tree".

There are six cypress trees in Nanbai An Ge Mountain in the temple, which are called "Nandou Liulang" (there are four existing trees). There are seven cypresses on Lianchi Mountain in the north of the temple, arranged like the Big Dipper, so there is a giant cypress on the top of Lianchi, called Polaris. There is a big cypress tree about three meters high, which looks like an umbrella cover and a lantern. It can be seen thousands of miles away, so it is called "the lamp of a thousand miles". There is a cypress tree, which is about 10 meter high, but it is less than one meter around, and three meters away is called "pulling out the lamp". Dongpo has five big cypress trees in the shape of a five-pointed star, which is called "East Fighting Five Stars". On the southeast ridge of the tree, there are twelve cypress trees, which are called "Twelve Liancheng" because they are like twelve generals traveling overnight (they are all standing, but the roots of the twelfth tree are exposed, which will damage their lives if they are not taken care of in time). Next to the "Twelve Liancheng", there is a cypress tree and a piece of Yewayao Bay (.

In Guanyin Pavilion, there are two cypress trees on the east and west sides of the Foreign Minister, which are called "Auspicious" and "Dragon Lady" respectively. The three cypress trees of Foreign Minister Wanfo Cave are triangular and called "three stars in the middle". There is a cypress tree in the east and west of Wanfo Cave, which is called "Sun God" and "Moon God".

In addition, there is a big cypress growing on the Shanmenping-Pan Maodong, which stands on a single branch. There are countless cypresses growing on the white tile under the Shanmenping, just like tens of thousands of female soldiers, so it is called "Little Tang King randomly points soldiers". There are 28 cypresses around Zhengjue Temple, which is called 28-night protection temple.

Tang Bai is a beautiful scenery of Zhengjue Temple and a major feature of the surrounding environment of Zhengjue Temple. There are cypress trees everywhere outside the temple. According to statistics, there are more than 100 famous trees. The nameless is hard to count, which may be caused by natural forces or the stars in the sky. There are so many cypresses dotted around this feng shui treasure house, which makes Zhengjue Temple even more icing on the cake and unique.
