Where is Wuzhou?

The origin of Wuzhou dates back to the third year of Wu Jinding in the Three Kingdoms (266). Dongyang County is located in the west, and the county is located in the east of Weihe River (Qujiang, which was called Weihe River in ancient times because of its water pattern). It is named after the Yang of Changshan Mountain and governs Changshan Mountain. Lingchangshan, Wu Shang, Yongkang, Ning Wu, Feng 'an, Taimu, Xin 'an (now Kecheng District, Quxian County), (now Changshan) and Pyeongchang (now Suichang) 9 counties (Records of Jinhua City) were changed to Wuzhou in the ninth year of Sui Kaidi, and changed to Wuzhou in the thirteenth year (593), and changed to Jinhua House in the Ming Dynasty (etymology). "When 1985 was divided into districts, the ancient city of Wuzhou in the past 1500 was called Wucheng District.

Wuyuan County and Wucheng District belong to Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces, but from the origin of their names, we can see that: firstly, Wuzhou was named after "its land was divided into astronomical women" (AD 593), and later Jinhua River was nicknamed "Wugang" and "Wujiang"; 2. Wuyuan County once belonged to Wuzhou in history. Wuyuan, as its name implies, is the water source of Wuzhou. It is named after the existence of a "five continents", later called "Five Rivers" and "Wujiang River", which is another river flowing to Poyang Lake in China. This is a typical water county name. It can be seen that the names of the two Wujiang rivers are related to Wuzhou.
