Why is Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum located in Zhongshan, Nanjing?

Legend has it that when Sun Yat-sen was in Nanjing, he went hunting in Purple Mountain with his friends. During the break, Sun Yat-sen looked around the mountains and said, "When I die one day, I would like to ask for a piece of land here to put my body." After Sun Yat-sen's death, the Kuomintang Central Committee applied to the Nanjing Municipal Government for this land to build Sun Yat-sen's mausoleum and bury him.
