Last year, the foundation construction of the North main pier encountered water leakage from the broken rock stratum, with a flow rate of 3,800 cubic meters per hour, setting a record for the most dangerous construction in Chuanjiang River. On the one hand, more than 40 large-displacement pumps drain water strongly, and on the other hand, the inverted U-shaped wall stops water. The builders worked hard for more than 20 days before they saved the construction area. Before the arrival of the spring flood, they took three key nodes of the project, all the foundation pit, pile foundation and pile cap, and escaped the threat of flood. Many difficulties of Chaotianmen Bridge mainly lie in the superstructure of the main bridge. The most difficult thing is that the vault is closed without stress, and dozens of tons of steel beams are assembled in the air without deformation or distortion. The high-precision construction of millions of high-strength bolts in the whole bridge ... all kinds of challenges are rare in the history of bridge construction. In order to overcome the difficulties, the second company carried out nine scientific and technological innovations, and all the construction schemes passed the evaluation of an expert group composed of academicians and masters, which won unanimous praise. The corresponding measures are being gradually implemented. The annual output value of CCCC No.2 Engineering Co., Ltd. exceeds1500 million yuan. The construction of Chaotianmen Bridge is presided over by a young team of this company-the project department consists of 67 managers and technicians, most of whom are under 35 years old.

Second Engineering Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of CCCC Second Aviation Bureau, which is responsible for the whole bridge construction. Mars, executive deputy manager of the project, said yesterday that the project is still progressing as planned due to the once-in-a-century high temperature this summer, and it is now entering the key superstructure construction stage. In the middle of next year, the main bridge is expected to be closed.
