What does Feng Shui mean in my eyes?

For me, Feng Shui is a theory about environment and vitality. It is an ancient Chinese doctrine, which embodies mysticism and philosophical thought. Fengshui has a wide influence in China and other parts of Asia because of its unique theory and practical methods. In my eyes, Feng Shui is closely related to nature, and it tries to explain the relationship with the natural environment and people through scientific methods.

Feng Shui practice includes gossip, geography, numbers and many other aspects, among which the most famous one is gossip, which is a figure composed of three lines, representing heaven, earth and people, and has the meaning of balance and harmony. When practicing geomantic omen, people will make corresponding plans according to the layout of houses or companies, architectural orientation, topography and other factors, in order to achieve the purpose of enhancing people's vitality and wealth. Generally speaking, Feng Shui practice is a way to adjust people's personal fortune by modifying the environment.

The practice and theory of geomantic omen have greatly influenced the fields of gardens, architecture and urban planning in China. In China culture, human beings and nature are interrelated and influenced, which is also the main idea of Feng Shui theory. The significance of geomantic omen includes adjusting the balance between environment and human vitality, improving wealth and health, calming the souls of ancestors and enjoying the wonderful natural landscape. For me, Feng Shui is not only a tool, but also a belief and traditional culture.
