Dayangshan National Forest Park manjusri temple Scenic Area

On April 28th, 20 12, the opening ceremony of manjusri temple scenic spot of Jiangsu Dayangshan National Forest Park and the inauguration ceremony of manjusri temple were held in Hushuguan Development Zone, adding another excellent scenic spot for leisure and sightseeing. Manjusri temple Scenic Area and Botanical Garden Scenic Area, which started construction on February 20 10, have a total area of 1029.8 hectares and are divided into three scenic areas: east, south and west. The manjusri temple Scenic Area, which opened today, is located in the east of the Forest Park. The Southern Botanical Garden under construction has a total planned area of about 86 hectares and a total investment of about 380 million yuan. Upon completion, it will become the largest botanical garden in the city, and the first phase is expected to be partially opened in the first half of this year. The ecological orchard scenic spot on the west side covers an area of about 25 hectares with a total investment of more than 26 million yuan. Supporting facilities and fruit tree planting have basically ended, and it is expected to open simultaneously with the first phase of the South Botanical Garden Scenic Area. Manjusri temple Scenic Area, which was completed that day, is located in the east of Dayangshan National Forest Park, with manjusri temple, phoenix temple, Yuliting, Banshan Pavilion and other places of interest. There are also mountain bike tracks, grass skiing areas and barbecue areas. The scenic spot covers an area of 42.45 hectares, with a cumulative investment of 1. 1 100 million yuan. Mainly for hiking, religious worship, sports and leisure, so that tourists can fully enjoy the tranquility of nature. Manjusri temple, the "essence" of manjusri temple scenic spot, was created by Zhidun, a monk in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. With a history of 1600 years, it is one of the earliest Buddhist temples in Suzhou. Because there are huge stones shaped like gutter nearby, it is also called gutter temple. Due to historical reasons, Manjusri Hall was destroyed during the Great Leap Forward in 1958. Now, the temple has been renovated, and the Heavenly King Hall, Guanyin Hall, Dizang King Hall and Manjushri Hall have all been rebuilt. From April 28th to May 3rd at 20 12, the scenic spot is open to all tourists free of charge, and from May 4th to May 30th at 3 1, with half-price tickets.
