Huangchuan County, Xinyang City is a specialty of geographical indications in China. Huangchuan County is the largest turtle breeding base in Henan Province and is known as the "turtle kingdom". The unique turtle breeding methods and superior natural environment accumulated in history have formed the obvious regional characteristics of Huangchuan soft-shelled turtle. Its outline is inverted horseshoe-shaped, its figure is thin, its back is flat, its abdomen is yellow-white, its back is yellow-green, its skirt is wide and thick, and its limbs and claws are neatly arranged.
