Historical Evolution of Dongchi Town
In the first year of Liang Dynasty (502), Liangde County was established here, and later it was changed to Huaide County. The former county seat is in Taian Village, Dong Chi Town. In 972 (the fifth year of Song Kaibao), the three counties of Huaide, Tan 'e and Teliang were abandoned and merged into Xinyi County. Taian has been regarded as a county for 470 years. Yuan belongs to Huang Liaozhai, the inspection department of Zhongdao Road in Xinyi County, and was the capital of Xinyi County in the Ming Dynasty. In the 13th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1674), it belonged to Huangliaobao in Xinyi County. 1932 is Dongchi Town, District 9, Xinyi County. 1940 is the upper lane of Huangliao in Area 2. 1952 is Dongchi District (Area 5) in Xinyi County. 1957 is Dong Chi Town. Qiu 1958 is under the jurisdiction of Dongzhen People's Commune. 1959 broke away from Dongzhen People's Commune and became Dong Chi People's Commune. 1983 changed to area. 1986 Donggaizhen.
