Because the topography of the reservoir is different, big and small, deep and shallow, but there will be concave parts in the irregular places on the shore, which we call Wan Hui. There are large and small backwaters, but they all have one thing in common, that is, the water flow here is relatively slow. As a result of the slow water flow, food can stay here. The fish species we often catch in freshwater fish, such as crucian carp, common carp and grass carp, all have the habit of sailing against the current, but their body structure is not suitable for fighting against rapids, so they like areas with slow water flow. This makes Wan Hui a very good fishing spot, and there are almost no good fishing spots on the straight shore.
Second, the beginning of flowers
The so-called Huajian is the part where the bank of the reservoir extends into the reservoir, and it is also recognized as a good fishing spot. Fish don't feed in deep water when they feed in water, because there is little food in deep water. In shallow water, aquatic plants or more aquatic insects will appear due to sunlight, and the natural food on the shore will fall into shallow water first. Therefore, the fish will not be too far away from the shore when foraging, which makes the flower tip in the reservoir become the only way for fish to forage. When the flowers come out, fish will come in the first three directions, so the fishermen are asked to get together and choose the place. Therefore, fishing on the tip of a knife often gets twice the result with half the effort.
Third, rock piles
Not all reservoirs have such fishing spots, generally speaking, they mainly exist near dams. Of course, some mountain reservoirs may be called rock piles everywhere. The underwater environment of riprap pile is very complicated, which is a good place for fish to avoid natural enemies and feed. For example, there are often many small fish, shrimps and snails in the rocky piles, and these rich baits will definitely attract all kinds of fish to feed. When we catch herring or mandarin fish, we always choose the place where there are rocks first, but when fishing, because the bottom of the water is more complicated, we often use the method of bottom fishing or the method of hook dropping. The line group is a bit like a string hook line group.
Fourth, grass
The grass here has two meanings. The first is the water grass area in the reservoir, which is the best fishing spot in any season. There is also the grass or crops on the shore, which will be submerged in the water during the flood season. These grasses or crops bring abundant fish, so they are also very good fishing places.

The water inlet is definitely the best fishing spot in summer, and it will be worse in other seasons. There is a heart-shaped injection at the water inlet, which not only brings fresh oxygen, but also organic matter washed down from the upstream. At the same time, the occupation of new water will also make the water temperature in this small area not high. Therefore, in summer, fish's demand for food, dissolved oxygen and water temperature is fully met, but it is not suitable for fishing in the low temperature season, because the injection of cold water will only make this area colder and not suitable for fish to stay.
