Cash cow is a kind of light-loving, drought-tolerant, cold-resistant and adaptable plant, which especially likes to grow in hard calcareous soil. Developed root system, average growth rate, slow growth in childhood, dust resistance. It breeds more in China and Sichuan.
1, practice point
With moist and fertile soil as the substrate, the cash cow with the characteristics of photophobia, cold tolerance and shade tolerance has deep roots, so it has strong tillering ability, short-term water accumulation, dust resistance and strong adaptability.
2. Temperature and lighting
Cash cow likes bright and ventilated environment. The ambient temperature should be controlled at 15 ~ 25℃, and the temperature should not be lower than 5℃. In summer, direct sunlight should be avoided, and shade can be provided, and it can be controlled at 30-40%. If the light is too strong, it is easy to burn the leaves. Pay attention to ventilation when placing indoors, water properly in winter, and don't use too much fertilizer. Fertilizer should be sprayed in late autumn to promote leaf growth and improve cold resistance.
There is water in all seasons.
Generally, cash cows should be watered twice a week. It is not advisable to water them too much, which will lead to rotten roots and water accumulation. Water should be strictly controlled in winter, which is conducive to safe winter. Fertilize once a week in summer, change pots in spring, remove old soil and replace it with new soil. If it is an old plant, it needs pruning.
Step 4 apply fertilizer
First of all, potted cash cows need a lot of fertilizer. Generally, garden soil and humus soil can be mixed as culture medium, and then compound fertilizer is applied once a month, and sufficient water and soil humidity are maintained for foliar spraying.
5, pests and diseases
Pests and diseases are generally caused by anthracnose or scale insects and red spiders, so attention should be paid to pesticide application and timely prevention and control.
