The biggest difference between Shandong lion cat and Persian cat lies in the face. Linqing cat's facial bones are similar to those of ordinary domestic cats, but its eyes are not as round as Persian cats, its nose is still very high and its frontal bones are not obvious. Besides, ears, with high roots and big ears, are mostly short after molting, which is a bit like a half-haired cat. Occasionally, the hair grows, but the head is still easy to distinguish. Moreover, their heads, hands and feet are long and tall, and their bodies are also very long, but this feature will not be obvious until after molting.
When it comes to "authentic" Persian cats, many people think it must be white. In fact, Persian cats have more than 30 recognized colors, orange, gray and blue, with various color changes and tricolor series, which is a bit like the striped type of domestic cats. Although there are many colors, Persian cats have the same characteristics in bones and hair: they all shrink their heads, their fur feet and tails are slightly shorter, and their bones are slightly thicker. The most special thing about Persian cat is that it does not look like a cat's face. Otherwise, many Beijingers feel very "shabby".
