The Luohe River, called Luoshui in ancient times, is an important tributary of the right bank of the Yellow River. Because the Yi River is an important tributary in Henan, also called Luo Yi, which is the Luoshui in Heluo area in ancient times. Nanluohe River is a hydrological name of Luohe River. The river flows through Luoyang City in the southeast of Shaanxi Province and southwest of Henan Province, and flows into the Yellow River in gongyi city, Henan Province.
The total length of the river is 447 kilometers, the length of the river in Shaanxi is 129.8 kilometers, the length of the river in Henan is 366 kilometers, and the total basin area is 1888 1 square kilometer. Luohe water conservancy has a long history of opening to the outside world, especially in Henan Province. According to "Notes on Water Classics" and "Notes on Valley Water", "Tang Canal was built near Luoyang in the Western Zhou Dynasty". In the Tang Dynasty, the irrigation of relatively high-lying farmland with Yi and Luo waters formed an important geographical condition for the ancient economic and cultural center.
