Daqinggou, called "Chonghule" in Mongolian, is a famous precious broad-leaved forest nature reserve in Inner Mongolia. Located 25 kilometers southwest of Ganqika town, it is a dark green valley running north and south.
Daqinggou is located on the Yuan Ye in the south of Zhelimu League, bordering on Horqin Sandy Land, which is about 250 kilometers long. Daqinggou deep valley consists of east and west double ditches, each of which is 10 km long. Shuanggou crossing is herringbone, with a depth of over100m and a width of about 200-300m, extending to Wu Peng County, Liaoning Province. There is a sharp contrast between the desertification in Daqinggou and the desertification outside the ditch. The river in the ditch trickled through, crystal clear and sweet at the entrance. The scenery in the ditch is even more hazy and beautiful, like a dream world.
Daqinggou is not only a pleasant landscape, but also a kingdom of animals and plants, with lush vegetation and animals willing to inhabit. As far as plants are concerned, there are more than 500 kinds of woody and herbaceous plants here. There are precious Fraxinus mandshurica, pineapple, Tilia amurensis, Bai Liu, elm and rare medicinal plants in the forest, such as Jinhua Yindong, Schisandra chinensis, Northeast Arisaema, Taoyewei and so on. Among the wild animals, there are antelopes, foxes, chipmunks and otters. They are found in ditches and streams, making them an ideal paradise for birds and animals. Although it is on the edge of the desert, it is naturally green and has many beautiful scenery. It can really be described as "the desert south of the Yangtze River".
