Tibetan sacred palace and font tower

Sichuan Dechang Zangsheng Palace

At the top of Fenghuangkou Mountain, there is a Taoist temple dedicated to Cang Xie, the ancestor of word creation, named Cangsheng Palace. Cangsheng Palace was built in June of the 13th year of Qing Daoguang. Initiated by local gentry, Zhou, Cao Xingde, Jiang Yunming, Fang and others, they called on gentlemen to donate money to build temples. The site of the temple was chosen at Fengtou, the third scene of Duqiong's "Phoenix Bath Cold Pool" (now Fengzui Mountain in the northeast of the county), and it was built on July "12". The Tibetan Holy Palace is divided into front, middle and back halls, covering an area of more than 420 square meters.

At the peak of Fenghuangzui outside Cangsheng Palace, there is a brick-and-stone shape, which looks like a pavilion, a three-level hexagonal pyramid, and the height is 1 1.5 meters, and the three floors are gathered step by step. Each floor is decorated with pottery dragon and phoenix relief, and the bottom ring is engraved with four characters: "Phoenix, Phoenix, Song and Yi". Font library, also known as Font Library Tower and Precious Font Library Tower, is a reflection of ancient Chongwen's thought of respecting characters. Font tower is at the top of Fenghuangzui Mountain, which looks like the golden crown of Phoenix from a distance.

Natural taiji diagram

The Anning River, called Baisha River in ancient times, runs from the north to the bottom of Fenghuang Mouth Peak in Dechang, and the river flows around, forming a natural Tai Chi map. The river flows around, just in accordance with the gossip layout of Gan, Kun, Kan, Li, Gen, Right, Zhen and Xun, and the Phoenix Mouth is just out of the natural Tai Chi map, which is very strange. Looking down from the top of Fenghuangzui Mountain, you can clearly identify this Taiji Eight Diagrams.

Due to the war, the old Dechang City ceased to exist in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. In the twenty-seventh year of Qing Qianlong (1762), the inspection department was established in Xichang county. With the construction and consolidation of political power, Dechang City moved west and rebuilt, which is today's Dechang City, only a few miles away from the dam. Dechang City has a complete record in Dechang City Records: "Yiguan Street, centered on the Inspection Department, is divided into two streets: Shangxiang Street in the north and Xia Xiang Street in the south" and "Qingshi Street at the end of the main street". Dechang, also known as Phoenix, originated in Dechang Street and connected with nearby mountain villages, which looks like a phoenix. This refers to the association of standing on the hillside east of Anning River and having a bird's eye view of Dechang City. The Land Catalogue of Dechang (edited and published by 1983) is divided into two parts: First, Dechang was a virgin forest in ancient times, inhabited by a phoenix, and the place name of drinking water was Xiangquan. On the other hand, Dechang City Street and the adjacent Cangsheng Palace (which should be the Phoenix Gate), Li Suo and Xiaoping are a phoenix with wings spread. There is a fragrant ditch in the west of the city, which comes from a spring and tastes sweet. This is the drinking place of Phoenix. Legend is not history, of course, but it is recognized that the people of the county have created the artistic conception of the Phoenix from such aspects as humanities and geography.

Dechang Fenghuang zui

Dechang folk spread the story of golden rooster since ancient times. Quote a poem from Zhi Zhi's Pagoda Golden Rooster: Behind the loess slope in the west of Sochi, a hill stands like a tower. Once upon a time, people with clouds. When every child is ugly, the golden rooster sings once or twice under the tower, and the chickens in every township sing, and the sound is amazing. Whether this golden rooster has a phoenix is unknown, but judging from the street naming, Dechang City has Shangxiang Street, Xia Xiang Street and Qingyun Street. In the thirty-second year of the Republic of China (1943), Dechang wanted to set up a county, first set up a governing bureau, and then renamed it Hengjiezi Feng Ming Street. Obviously, it embodies Feng Huangming's desire to soar to the top of the world.

There is a hill in the northeast of the city, which extends to the Anning River and is called Phoenix Mouth. "Zhi Zhi" Luo Shihua's "Phoenix Mouth": At the east corner of the city, go to North Road, set up a ferry to communicate with the economy. Its pool is 100 feet deep, and a pier protrudes from the edge of the pool, which is dozens of feet high. Its hair is as strong as a phoenix's title, with clear water and clanging sound, and a sacred pavilion is built at the top, which is incomparable. People enjoy it. Xichang County Records of the Republic of China listed it as the third of Du Qiong's six scenic spots and named it "Feng Yu Han Tan". Pojiao Fenghuangzui Ferry is one of the important passes of Dechang. Before the Qing Dynasty, there were "two official ships, big and small, built once every three years", which were still in use until the end of the 1950s.

One mile south of Phoenix Mouth is Phoenix Bridge, which was built in the 27th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty (190 1). It is 100 m long and 6 m wide, with 13 iron bar as the beam, and three boards are laid at the bridge side. It was not until 19 1 that another highway stone arch bridge was demolished.

During the reign of Emperor Daoguang and Emperor Shen Bing in Qing Dynasty, Governor Wang Shixin initiated fund-raising to build an academy, which was the first of its kind. "Because the mountain is phoenix-shaped", it is named Fengchi Academy. In addition, after liberation, there are Fenghuang Village, Fenghuang Power Station, Fenghuang Weir and Feng Ming Bridge in Dechang County.
