This "Phoenix under the Buttonwood Tree" tells the story of Zhu Yuanzhang as emperor.
Zhu Yuanzhang was the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, nicknamed "Mao". In the first month of the first year of Hongwu (A.D. 1368), he proclaimed himself emperor in Yingtianfu, with the title of "Daming" and "Hongwu".
Yingtianfu is Jinling, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, and now it is the capital of Jiangsu Province.

Zhu Yuanzhang was emperor for 3 1 year, and died in the 31st year of Hongwu (A.D. 1398), at the age of 7 1 year, and was buried in Xiaoling Mausoleum at the southern foot of Zijinshan (Zhongshan) in the east of the capital.
When Zhu Yuanzhang proclaimed himself emperor in 3 1 year, Yingtianfu became a prosperous metropolis, and the people of the Imperial Capital were happy and peaceful, and their lives were very comfortable. They praised Zhu Yuanzhang and were full of praise. When he became emperor, people could tell many jokes about him, and they were fascinated.
I interviewed many anecdotes when I was writing the book "Three Thousand Years of Feng Shui", such as Liu Ji's "Filling the Dragon Palace".
city wall
After the capital was established, like other dynasties, Zhu Yuanzhang began to establish the capital. To this end, the "Imperial Capital Construction Association" was established, with members from important departments such as the Ministry of Rites, the Ministry of Qin and the Ministry of Industry. Many of them are geomantic omen, and Liu Ji, a strategist in the war years, contributed a lot. He knows the geography, the afterlife, everything and everything.
Li Shanchang, Song Lian, Li Sidi, Wang Yi and other officials trusted by Zhu Yuanzhang were also indispensable in the meeting.
The center of Yingtianfu is in Jin Fu and Daxing Palace, where the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties is located. According to common sense, Zhu Yuanzhang's palace should be built here.
However, Zhu Yuanzhang felt that the "kingly way has been collected" here, and the pattern was not satisfactory.
Government seat
Liu Ji is a director of the "Imperial Capital Construction Association". Seeing the present emperor unhappy, I know that he is worried about the location of the palace. Liu Ji saw Zhu Yuanzhang's mind and said that he had found the treasure.
The place Liu chose is today's Ming Palace Museum. It is not far from Longweipo, close to Zijinshan in the east and in front of Fuguishan.
In the Qing Dynasty, Gu mentioned this in the book Zhao Yuzhi, saying, "In August of Hongwu Bingwu (26th year of Yuan Dynasty, AD 1366), (Zhu Yuanzhang) expanded Jinling and ordered Liu Xin Palace to be in Zhongshan."
Ming city wall in Fuguishan section
Longweipo is the remnant vein of Fuguishan, a hill in the city, and Fuguishan is the remnant vein of Zhongshan Mountain, which runs from east to west and reaches the river. But there is Xuanwu Lake in the north of Fuguishan, and Yanzi Lake and Neihu in the south. How can a palace be built in this place?
Zhu Yuanzhang expressed doubts, but Liu Ji plausibly said, "Fill the lake and protect it, and build the Dragon Palace on the water." Zhu Yuanzhang was very happy.
Filling this big lake requires a lot of work.
Even in modern times with bulldozers, excavators and other large machinery, filling a big lake is not a trivial matter, and its difficulty can be imagined. However, Zhu Yuanzhang is the emperor. He transferred a large number of migrant workers from other places, carrying the burden to fill Yanzi Lake.
As the old saying goes, "move three mountains to fill a bird", that's all.
Xuanwu Lake outside the Ming City Wall
It has been found in ancient times that the saying of "plugging birds" is true. Many wooden stakes were found at the bottom of the lake that year, which were knocked down when filling the lake.
It didn't go well at first. As the saying goes, water blocks the soil, but the lake rises faster than the soil.
One day, Zhu Yuanzhang traveled around the lake incognito and saw an old man fishing here, so he asked his name.
The old man said that his surname was Tian and his nickname was Deman. "Tiandeman" is not "full", Zhu Yuanzhang blurted out. Isn't this what God gave him?
Zhu Yuanzhang thought it was providence. He told the old man that he was the current emperor and immediately named him the Lake God.
Ruins of the Ming Palace
Tiandeman thought he had hit a big luck. Unexpectedly, Zhu Yuanzhang asked him to fill the lake-he was sent to the bottom of the lake.
Tiandeman didn't die in vain. It is said that his descendants were taken care of by the court, became your officials, and ate the imperial grain.
The lake was filled and the palace was built. But people who engage in construction know that no matter how they fill it, the ground will settle down in the future. Sure enough, within two years, cracks appeared in the palace wall, and the ground showed the phenomenon of high before and low after, which was called "uneven settlement" in modern engineering.
This happened in the ancient palace in China.
"Du Di Pian" said, "Those who live in the country must be in an impartial place."
The location of the palace is not good, which has become a heart disease of Zhu Yuanzhang, and it is also one of the important reasons for his future thinking.
imperial capital
Gu's Records of Diseases in the Counties of the World (Volume XIII) reveals a secret, which is directly related to the improper location of Liu Ji Palace.
Zhu Yuanzhang said this year: "I have governed the world for decades, and everything is in line with ancient times. Only Miyagi is arrogant and depressed, and the situation is unbalanced. This wish, now that I am old, my energy is tired, and the world is new, I don't want to be a migrant worker, so I have to resign myself to fate. I only want to learn from this heart and bless my children. "
Because of the problems in the palace, Zhu Yuanzhang hated Liu Ji, but on the surface he was full of praise for Liu Ji and kept a straight face.
In the third year of Hongwu (AD 1370), Zhu Yuanzhang named Liu Ji as "Uncle Cheng". However, the blocked Liu Ji was not happy. Liu Ji saw through the phenomenon that the monarch and his subjects can "share pains" but can't "share joys" at all times and in all countries. Now that the Ming Dynasty is stable, the old minister who risked his life in those days is useless.
In order to avoid being cooked by a dead dog, Liu Ji, a shrewd man, put forward a desire to retire to Zhu Yuanzhang the next year, and wanted to "retire to his hometown".
After Zhu Yuanzhang made an excuse to stay, he put Liu Ji back to his hometown in Zhetian.
Zhu Yuanzhang's desire for Miyagi to be "arrogant before and restrained after, and the situation is not equal" has not moved until his death.
Zhu Yuanzhang said it was "God's will".
It turned out that in the 25th year of Hongwu (AD 1392), Prince Zhu Biao came back from a visit to Guanzhong Capital and caught a cold. Although he was fully treated by a physician, he eventually died of illness. The white-haired man sent the black-haired man, and Chu Jun died unexpectedly. Zhu Yuanzhang said it was a life, and he never mentioned it again.
Liu Ji also said "providence" in those days-that is, providence.
Ming imperial palace wuchaomen
Why did Liu Ji say that? It turned out that Zhu Yuanzhang moved the foundation of Miyagi behind his back-moved the foundation.
This matter is not in the official history, but it is very extensive. Xu Wei's charge on Qingqi in Amin Dynasty deduced this statement, which was confirmed by Wang Yi, a senior adviser of Zhu Yuanzhang and a man to be built:
"The year before last, Ding Jian Palace Pass was completed. Liu Jiyuan built thousands of households as the base of the main hall, which has already stood in the water. At that time, the Lord thought it was too narrow and moved it to the back. Liu Jizhou said:' this is also good, but something will inevitably happen in the future.' Today, I am dreaming of this idea, or it is a matter of heaven. "
Why did Zhu Yuanzhang move the foundation pile set by Liu Ji? It is said that it is because of Ma Huanghou.
Portrait of Ma Huanghou
According to Han's "The Window in the Dream"? In He Lv Collection, Liu Ji chose the palace site and put piles in different places. After Zhu Yuanzhang came back, he told Ma Huanghou the situation.
Hearing this, Ma Huanghou said to Zhu Yuanzhang, "It's up to you to build a temple in Liu Ye!"
Zhu Yuanzhang felt reasonable after listening to it. Liu Ji's pile foundation was changed in the dark. The next day, Liu Ji was called to see the scene. Liu Ji found that the foundation pile had been touched.
Who dares to touch the foundation piles of the palace except Zhu Yuanzhang? Liu Ji immediately understood that he would excavate the foundation according to the pile position moved by Zhu Yuanzhang.
It is unlucky to change the foundation pile casually, so Liu Ji said to Zhu Yuanzhang, "It is so strong, but it is difficult for future generations!"
Sure enough, Liu Ji's words became a surprise-what a coincidence!
Portrait of Judy of Ming Chengzu
Shortly after Zhu Yuanzhang's death, Judy, the prince of Yan, launched the "Jingnan Rebellion", which was broken in four years (AD 1402). Emperor Jianwen is in the palace, and Judy is the emperor, in order to become the ancestor of the Ming Dynasty.
(A.D. 1420), Judy published a letter, which is official. Change Jinling Yingtianfu to ""and Beiping Shuntianfu to "Shi Jing".
Now the Ming Palace built by Liu Ji was completely destroyed by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in the late Qing Dynasty, and now only the ruins of the Ming Palace are left.
From the map, East Road passes through the central part of the Ming Palace Museum.
By that time, the coffin had been removed and buried. In order to facilitate the burial of the mausoleum, a road was specially opened, passing through the ruins of the Ming Palace and leaving the city. This is the main road of the city now, "East Road".
The pattern of the Ming Palace in Donglu is serious, and it is difficult to restore it now. It is estimated that Liu Ji, who can pinch and calculate, did not think of this!
East Road 1980 is famous for its buttonwood trees all over the country, but unfortunately at the expense of the ruins of the Ming Palace.
The above is about the sharing of Zhu Yuanzhang from Yuan Dynasty to Zhengbingwu Year. After reading Five Years from Yuan to Yuan, I hope this will help everyone!
