Focusing on the development needs of emerging industries in our city, the school continuously optimizes the layout of disciplines and specialties in accordance with the strategy of building Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and serving the country. At present, there are 26 secondary colleges and 66 undergraduate majors, covering 9 disciplines: economy, law, literature, science, engineering, medicine, management, art and education.
There are 3 provincial key disciplines, 3 municipal dominant disciplines, 2 tourism education quality certification projects of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, 3 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 8 provincial first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites and 0/2 provincial specialties.
