Twenty-four Mountains Sand and Water Classic originated from Li Xiangsheng, another Feng Shui master in Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province during the Republic of China. After Li Xiang's death, Master Chen Hairu went to his son-in-law's house to copy Li Xiangsheng's geomantic works and copied them inside the door. Twenty-four mountains and rivers are all derived from this.
