"Jiji" comes from the Book of Changes and is the 63rd hexagram in the Book of Changes. The reason why Ji Ji Gua is called "fire and water auspicious" is because it is separated from each other. The ridge is water, the distance is fire, and Gigi is a friend of fire and water. Heart fire goes down to warm kidney water, kidney water goes up to extinguish heart fire, heart and kidney intersect, and yin and yang are harmonious and healthy, which is called "fire and water ji ji".
Xiang Ci said: The divination in Ji Ji Gua is on the threshold (water) away from fire, and it is the manifestation of water on fire. It is a metaphor for cooking food with fire. When the food is cooked, it symbolizes that things have been successful. A gentleman should be far-sighted. After things are successful, he should consider all kinds of possible disadvantages in the future and nip them in the bud.
Yin-yang relationship
1, yin and yang are homologous.
We must have heard the saying "Tai Chi gives birth to two instruments". The so-called "two instruments", that is, "yin and yang", are all born of Tai Chi. So yin and yang are naturally homologous.
2. Yin and Yang are the root causes of each other
The so-called "solitary yin is not born, solitary yang is not long", only "yin", no "yang", "yin" is not born; Only "Yang" does not have "Yin", then "Yang" is not long; To put it bluntly, "Yin" and "Yang" are inseparable and mutually fundamental.
3. The opposition of Yin and Yang
On the point of "opposition", nature is the easiest to understand. Everything has its two sides. One side can be called "Yin" and the other side can be called "Yang". Either this or that.
4. Yin and Yang education
Culture means transformation, education means inoculation, and education of yin and yang means that yin can be transformed into yang, and yang can also be transformed into yin. The so-called "extremes meet" and "yin" is actually transformed into "yang" step by step in the process of developing into "old yin".
