Gongyi Cave Temple was built in the period of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, and was changed to Jingtu Temple in the Tang Dynasty. Gongyi has a national treasure cave temple, which is also the place where Tang Xuanzang became a monk.
