Jinping travel guide

It takes about 2-25 and a half hours for the battery car to go up the mountain, down the mountain and then to the first bergamot Guanyin section next to Banfeng Avenue.

Jinping, a national AAA scenic spot in Langzhong, was called Langshan in ancient times. It is known as the best mountain in the world. It is located in the south of Langzhong, a famous historical and cultural city in China. Because of the colorful flowers and trees, the two peaks are connected like a screen, so people usually call it Jinping, Wu Daozi's "Three Hundred Miles of Jialing River Mountain Map", which is a poem by Du Fu with Jinping as the axis.

Jinping Mountain Garden * * * covers an area of more than 800,000 square meters. On the east side of Jinping, there is Huanghua Mountain, which is the Kuixing Building that complements the ancient city's geomantic omen. Built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, it was named Kuixingge. Jinping has beautiful scenery. In the past dynasties, pavilions were built on mountains, including Ling Du Temple and Langfeng Pavilion. In the early years of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, Zhang Sicong, the magistrate of Baoning, built Jinping Academy, which contained Zundao Pavilion for storage.

Main attraction

Go down the stone steps from Baxian Cave, turn left to bypass the ancient bamboo road, go out of the round gate along the mountain, have a rainbow pavilion, bypass the Shanyin Flower Path, cross the lotus pond, and you will reach the Stargazing Building standing in front. In front of the building is a bronze statue of Luo Xiahong, an astronomer from the Western Han Dynasty in China, and an armillary sphere created by him. Guanxing Building is a three-story hexagonal building with a height of 24 meters. On the top floor, there are statues of Luoxia Hong and Ren Wengong; on the middle floor, there are three generations of grandparents such as Three Kingdoms and Zhou Qun; on the bottom floor, there are statues of Yuan Tiangang and Li who settled in Langzhong in their later years.

They were all famous astronomers in the Han and Tang Dynasties, and they all wrote their own life stories. So, they got off the olive grove, passed Huaifei Pavilion, passed the first gallery of Bashu, and arrived at Dujing Pavilion. Cui Yun Pavilion is hidden in the pine forest. Looking up, the distant mountains are like smoke, but looking up, surrounded by flowers and trees and paths, it really feels like a fairyland on earth. On the east side of Jinping Mountain is Huanghua Mountain, and there is Kuixing Tower on the mountain, which is in line with the geomantic omen of the ancient city. It was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. In the 13th year of Jiaqing, the Zhongtian Tower was demolished in the city, and in the 14th year of Guangxu, the original site was rebuilt and demolished during the Cultural Revolution.
