Just after New Year's Eve, people couldn't restrain their joy, so many people set out for Yan Rui Temple in the middle of the night. Before dawn, the temple was already full of cigarettes. At dawn, the roads outside the temple are busy and there is nowhere to stay in the temple. For a time, the inside and outside of the temple became a sea of people. Firecrackers are heard, and the mountains are shaking; Incense continued, and the temple became a cloud island. Not only to burn incense and pray, but also to meet relatives and friends on the road, say "Happy New Year" and enhance feelings.

Yan Rui Temple is located at the foot of Yan Rui Mountain on the right side of Baihuayan in Wutun Township, Wuyishan, 28 kilometers away from the urban area. In the first year of Guangming in Tang Dynasty (AD 880), a monk named Zhao Guang in Wuyishan chose a place to establish Yan Rui Academy. Peng _, a celebrity in the Northern Song Dynasty, was rebuilt in the third year of Yongxi (AD 986). In the third year of Xining (AD 1070), Zongshen gave the title of "Shousheng", in the first year of Longxing (AD 1 163), and Xiaozong gave the title of "Yan Rui".
