Dance of Sensoji Temple Golden Dragon
Golden Dragon Dance is a representative activity in Sensoji Temple. The origin of dragon dance is the mountain name of Sensoji Temple. The Guanyin statue now enshrined in Sensoji Temple was rescued from Lany. Legend has it that at the moment when Guanyin statue was salvaged, there was a golden dragon flying and landing in the sky in Sensoji Temple. The next day, the area where the golden dragon appeared became a forest of thousands of pine trees overnight (symbolizing a bumper harvest). So Sensoji Temple is called "Golden Dragon Mountain Sensoji Temple".
Dragon Dance is held twice a year, namely 18 March (the day Guanyin appeared) and 18 10 October (Chrysanthemum Festival). The Golden Dragon will appear from Sensoji Temple, be held high by dancers, and then come to the clearing of the main hall of Sensoji Temple.
After the abbot explains the meaning of the Golden Dragon Dance, the dancers will dance the Golden Dragon to the accompaniment of music. Jinlongshe followed a golden fireball all all the way to this hall, just like the legendary route of Jinlong's appearance.

Sacrifice of Asakusa Shrine Three Societies
The official name of Sanshe Sacrifice Festival is "Asakusa Shrine Sacrifice", which is the most lively celebration in Asakusa, attracting more than 1.5 million people to make a pilgrimage to Asakusa every year.
