"Dream culture" is a major feature of Shizhu Mountain's religious culture, so Shizhu Mountain is praised as "China's dreamland" by the world. The custom of praying for dreams in Shizhu Mountain was formed at the latest in Ming Dynasty and at the earliest in Song Dynasty. Since many celebrities in history have said that the immortals in Shizhu Mountain give dreams efficacy, since the end of the Ming Dynasty, many good men and women have come to Shizhu Mountain to pray for the immortals to give dreams.
Ming Shi Ye went to Shizhu Mountain to pray for a dream when he was young. One year in Tomb-Sweeping Day, Ye went to Shizhu Mountain to draw lots, and he was very unhappy with the signing method of "wealth and no mind, no fame and fortune". Later, he invited an old monk to cancel his visa. The old monk told him that this was a good sign and explained, "Wealth has no intention of thinking. Isn't the word' thinking' missing the word' heart' and the word' phase'? " Fame and fortune can't be accomplished, and the word "hundred-day reform" doesn't sound like "success" Doesn't this indicate that the son will be in the official position in the year of the Reform Movement of 1898? "With the help of the old monk, Ye was greatly encouraged, studied hard and finally became prime minister. When Ye Gao Xiang revisited Shizhu Mountain after his success, he wrote a meaningful poem in Cow's Foot Cave: "The rugged Dianthus sticks in the sky and wins friends when he is ill. Luo Jing winds in the cave outside the cloud, and Songmen is diagonally connected to the Jianbian Bridge. The cliff is cold and the fairy altar is quiet, and the blue sea and blue sky are far away. I have dreamed from a famous mountain, but today jade brings shame. "
In addition, celebrities such as Ma Duo, the top scholar of Changle, Li Guangdi, the great scholar of Wenyuange, Chen, the emperor of the late Qing Dynasty, and Sa Zhenbing, the general of the navy, all became attached to Shi Zhushan's dream-praying. When Chen was young, he prayed for a dream in Shizhu Mountain. When I returned to my hometown in the future, I went to the Nine Immortals Taoist Temple in Shizhushan to make a wish, and wrote a couplet: "Although I can talk about dreams, I can honestly know the past." 1986, Xiang Nan, former secretary of Fujian Provincial Party Committee, wrote "Dianthus Fairy Mountain, daydreaming" in Dianthus Mountain.
Shi Zhushan's "dream culture" is composed of praying for dreams, pursuing spring and believing in the Nine Immortals. The annual spontaneous "Spring Festival" activities of the people have permeated the dream culture with profound connotations, which has widely influenced the land of Bamin and overseas Chinese. The so-called "spring" is to meet the spring god and the spring king. Shizhushan, because of its special human and geographical environment and strong geomagnetic induction in time and space, has become the "land of inheritance and development of dream culture" and has long been dubbed as the "land of spring". People who "receive spring" go to Shizhu Mountain to "wait for spring" on the same day or one day in advance in beginning of spring every year. As night fell, the activity began, and tens of thousands of people followed with red barrels under the guidance of the lights of boys and girls. At this time, cigarettes rose, candlelight reflected the sky, and the "Spring Festival travel rush" team danced like dragons and snakes, which was very beautiful and formed a very spectacular cultural landscape. In the activities of "Receiving Spring", the contents of "Chasing Spring", "Burning Wood to Welcome Spring", "Loading Spring Gold Barrels" and "Guitaisui Dojo" are quite meaningful.
In 2008, Fuqing Municipal Government held the first "Shizhushan Dream Culture Festival", which attracted many folks at home and abroad to participate in the "Spring Festival" activities, and the scene was spectacular. The "Dream Tour of Taoism Across the Taiwan Strait and the Second Chinese Dream Culture Festival in Shizhushan, Fuqing" was jointly sponsored by Keelung City and Fuqing City, Taiwan Province Province, and was listed as a key planning and exchange project with Taiwan by the Taiwan Affairs Office. It is also the largest dream cultural event with the widest participation and the deepest influence in China. At present, the "Shizhushan Dream Culture", including the "Spring Festival" activities, has been selected into the list of intangible cultural heritage protection in Fujian Province.
