Datong go on road trip Raiders One-day Tour

Datong, located in Shanxi Province, is a famous coal mining city in China. It has a very old human history. Many historical memories are recorded here, and many historical deeds can be told. Let's share a one-day tour to road trip.

Travel Notes of Datong Museum, Mass Pit, Guandi Temple and Chunyang Palace

Continue to visit Datong today.

In the morning, I went to the Coal Museum. I wanted to go down the tunnel to see the whole simulated coal mining process, but I was told that it was being repaired and not open to the public. So I changed my itinerary and took a bus to the memorial hall of mass graves in Datong coal mine.

Because it's not a holiday, I'm the only one in the vast and empty memorial hall. I felt a little scared when I marched in the dim exhibition hall of the memorial hall.

Halfway through, I heard someone talking in front and saw three tourists nearby, so I relaxed. So, I continued to visit with them, until finally, I saw the real mass grave.

In two deeply abandoned mines, piles of yellow bones and various postures were piled up, and it seemed that they could still see their fear, struggle, longing and despair at that time. Let people feel the cruelty of that historical period.

Mass graves are the witness of the Japanese invasion of China and the killing of coolies in China during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. I feel sad after reading them. Should we never forget history or should we forget it? Should these bones be buried and integrated with the mountains and rivers, or should they stay here for people to see and play an educational role? Many problems are not what I, a common people, should think about at all. I just can't help thinking about life and history.

Bless those souls who have lost their lives anyway.

Out of the mass grave, take a bus to Datong Museum.

In this modern high-tech museum, I saw the history and culture of Datong. It turns out that this city has a profound cultural history, from ancient primitive times to clan times, from the recorded Xia, Shang, Zhou, Spring and Autumn and Warring States and Han Dynasties, to the Eastern and Western Jin and Southern Dynasties, and then to the Song, Yuan, Liao, Jin, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Here, the whole history of Datong is displayed in the form of cultural relics.

Datong used to be called Yunzhong and Pingcheng. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, King Wuling of Zhao lived here and called on the people to ride and shoot. Xianbei people in the Northern Wei Dynasty once built their capital here. During the Han Dynasty, it was still under the jurisdiction of Dai Jun. It can be seen that Datong has been a civilized and cultural center in the northern border since ancient times.

Looking at all kinds of cultural relics in six exhibition areas of the three-story exhibition hall, I have only one strong feeling in my heart, that is, I feel too uneducated. There is no content about history, architecture, sculpture and various cultures. Without cultural knowledge, you can only take a cursory look and feel the pleasure of in-depth cultural tour. Once again, I have an idea and wish in my heart, that is, I will still study history after I go back, and I will study 24 years of history.

It's past four o'clock in the afternoon when I returned to the city from Datong Museum. I visited the Chunyang Palace next to the Drum Tower. I like the couplets in it very much. There are many plaques inscribed by famous artists, and many couplets are very philosophical, inspiring and intriguing.

Opposite the Youth Travel Service, it happened to be Guandi Temple, so I went to visit the nearby Guandi Temple. Guan Di Guan Yu is the embodiment of loyalty and courage, which is very inspiring. Seeing the iron statue of Guan Gong, I suddenly felt that he was so mighty! If only I had such a man! Ha!

A large-scale painting and calligraphy art exhibition is being arranged in the courtyard of Guandi Temple. Calligraphy, painting and root carving are all available. I was deeply attracted by the beauty of those arts. I met a painter and they asked me to take pictures of them. Then I talked about my appreciation and feelings about his paintings by the way, and it was very enjoyable.

Back to youth travel, I sat on the swing and had a good rest. In the evening, I came to the antique Fenglinge with some traveling companions to play delicious food. Don't die, spell AA.
