South China Normal University has three campuses: Shipai Campus (Headquarters), University Town Campus and Nanhai Campus. Freshmen to seniors are all in the same campus and will not change. I was assigned to different campuses according to my major.
Shipai Campus, the old campus of China Normal University, is located in the bustling Tianhe District with convenient transportation. There is a subway station within 0/00 meters of the west gate of the school/KLOC-,which is located at China Normal University Station on Line 3. Moreover, most of the majors in Shipai Campus are liberal arts majors, and the proportion of girls is naturally more. Science and engineering majors are mostly located in the University Town Campus and Nanhai Campus.

The school has four national key disciplines: educational technology, development and educational psychology, optics and sports humanities sociology (key training), and nine national "2 1 1 engineering" key construction disciplines. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, four disciplines, namely psychology, pedagogy, Marxist theory and physical education, were rated as Class A disciplines, among which psychology was rated as A+, which was tied with Peking University and Physical Education.
If you are interested in history, you are advised to choose carefully. According to the evaluation of the history discipline by the Ministry of Education, the history of China in China Normal University is C and the history of the world is C+. In contrast, the history of China across the hall is B and the history of the world is C+; CUHK China History A-, World History B-. Although it may not be as good as Jinan University and Zhong Da University, China Normal University is definitely not bad.
Dormitory environment
Shipai Campus: Most dormitories in Shipai Campus of China Normal University are still relatively shabby, with four rooms and bunk beds. After all, it was built earlier, and it looks a bit old outside, a bit like the feeling of old buildings in the old city. Especially in the boys' dormitory, many students have also vomited. There are also some new dormitories in Shipai Campus of China Normal University, and the dormitory allocation of China Normal University is decided by the college counselor or the person in charge by lottery every year, so where to live is also luck.

Nanhai Campus: A * * has eight dormitories A ~ H, and the situation of each building is different. Some four rooms form a dormitory for eight people, and some five rooms. They are all independent bathrooms, so you don't need to go to a big bathhouse, but some dormitories don't have showers, or the pits need to be flushed with water. Going to bed and getting out of bed is also certain. The hot water time is from 5 pm to 1 1: 30, and the situation will be worse in winter. If many dormitories use water at the same time, there will be no hot water for bathing.
University town campus: four rooms, relatively spacious, with private bathroom, independent balcony and bathroom.
On the whole, the dormitory environment of Shipai Campus of China Normal University is the worst among the three campuses, mainly because Shipai Campus of China Normal University belongs to the old campus, and the dormitory has been established for many years, and many facilities are old, while many of the University Town and Nanhai Campus are newly built dormitories, which will be relatively new and have high satisfaction with the accommodation conditions.

Yi Xue Canteen (Taoyuan)
Located in the central area of Shipai Campus, the first floor provides mass meals and special packages. There is a Chinese bakery and a canteen in the northwest, and a Muslim restaurant in the southwest. South of the second floor is the flavor self-selection area, and air conditioning is turned on in summer. On the north side of the second floor is Taoyuan Restaurant, which caters for all kinds of banquets and meals and provides morning tea every Saturday and Sunday.
Xueer canteen (Yongyuan)
Located in the west area of Shipai Campus, the owner on the first floor should provide public meals and special packages. And set up a vegetarian window. You can choose your own dishes on the second floor and turn on the air conditioner in summer. There is also a small restaurant "Mi Curie", which is suitable for friends to get together. Yongyuan Restaurant (near the west gate) is located on the first floor of Liu Xi Student Dormitory, offering fast food, snacks and freshly squeezed juice.
