I took the teacher's certificate in Dongcheng, Beijing last year. It's not too difficult, but the exam forms are different in different regions. I'll just talk about my exam experience for reference only.
Let's draw lots first and draw a lesson to prepare. During this preparation period, we will write a lesson plan by hand. Of course, you can refer to the lesson plan, because there are many teachers preparing lessons together, and the teachers in front will go to see it at once. During the exam, you try to speak 15 minutes first, but it usually doesn't take that long to be stopped. There are only three teachers in the examination room, but they won't cooperate with you to answer questions. So, when you talk, it's like acting. Take air as a student, and ask students to answer questions themselves, as naturally as possible. 15 minutes, just show your prepared warm-up, induction and practice. Lead-in is very important. Try to think creatively, but be close to the scene of the text. It's best to speak in English to give the examiner a good impression.
After the trial, the teacher may ask some questions, ideas or other simple teaching questions. I'm not sure about this, because after I finished the exam, the examiner didn't ask me any questions at all, and in the end it was tantamount to chatting, asking where the junior high school is, which school I plan to go to, how I want to be a teacher, and so on. The questions and answers are all in Chinese, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
So I think the previous lectures are more important than answering questions, and the teachers will not embarrass you in the end. If you have the ability to answer in English, you should also say it in an easy-to-understand way, because primary school teachers really don't need to use much advanced grammar.
Finally, I would like to remind you that if you have decided which district to teach, you can go to which district to take the teacher qualification examination. It may be these teachers who will take care of you in the end. Let them know you first, which will be of great help to their future development.
