What does the top pick in NBA draft mean?

The No.1 scholar refers to the person who is first selected at the annual NBA team selection meeting, usually the best among all the players who participate in the draft. The second selected player is called the second show, and the third selected player is called the flower-exploring show. The player selected later is called the first choice.

There are two rounds in the NBA draft. The first round of draft is the top draft pick, the second draft pick, the flower-exploring pick and the team with good regular season record, and the second round is arranged according to the regular season record from bad to good.

When a player is selected in the first draft, the team that selected him must sign with him for at least four years (3+ 1 or 2+2), while the team that selected the player in the second round can "own" the player for three years, but the team does not have to sign with them.

Rules for drawing lots in NBA draft:

1. Put 1 4 ping-pong balls numbered1to 14 into a drum, and choose four balls from them to form a combined result. A * * will have 100 1 combination results. If one result is ignored, the remaining 1000 results will be randomly assigned to 13 teams by the computer.

2. The worse the regular season record, the more results will be distributed. The team at the bottom of the league will get 225 alternative results.

3. Shake four balls like a lottery, and a group of four numbers will be born. Which team's results include this type will have the number one draft. Then put the four balls back in the bucket, repeat the above process twice, and take the second and third draft. Teams that don't get the top three picks will get the fourth to thirteenth rookies according to their regular season record.
