Will the crayon melt when it is broken?

Yes, you can connect the broken crayons yourself. After baking and melting two broken crayons with a lighter, they can be connected together quickly. After pressing for a few seconds, try to align the two crayons when pressing, so that the crayons will be straight after being connected.

Melting method:

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit or 140 degrees Celsius.

Tear the paper off the crayon. Cut the paper tube with a craft knife or other tools.

If the crayons are not broken into small pieces, break them. Cutting large crayons into small pieces is easier to melt.

Cover the small cup of muffin tin with a layer of aluminum foil. Put the wax block in the small cup of the muffin tin. Decide whether to mix colors or separate them all. If you use a silicone muffin baking tray, you don't need to put aluminum foil. We strongly recommend that you use such a baking tray, because if you let the crayons melt by themselves, they will easily explode.
